after I complained that they're burning commercial-loads of wooden waste that was creating a dangerously huge bonfire and is producing black smoke in their garden (next door). They've done 3 such bonfires in the last week.
I had to veer off the road today when I realised the wheel was on the rim, am horrified someone would intentionally want to harm us and our children. Where do I go from here???? Moving house is not an option at this time....

Have you reported it to the police? If you can't prove that it was them, at least you can report malicious damage so that it's logged.

LifeOfPee · 07/07/2013 21:58

Call the police on the non emergency number, 101 or go into your local station and report it

Call the councils environment dept and report the fires too.

BridgetBidet · 07/07/2013 21:59

Is it social housing? Can you report it to the landlord? And report it to the police too.

HansieMom · 07/07/2013 22:02

They can get fingerprints off the bottle.

scottishmummy · 07/07/2013 22:03

Take a photo,note dates,times
Don't make a direct approach to him,too confrontational
Call police,if applicable tell landlord or housing association

ajandjjmum · 07/07/2013 22:03

Call the police and tell them what's happened.

LessMissAbs · 07/07/2013 22:39

You can get movement activated video cameras. Hide it or disguise it.

Or bully them back...

scottishmummy · 07/07/2013 22:43

Ignore any suggestion of camera, and retaliation
That's the kind of dire advice that ups the ante and cause more problems
Call police, keep record if dates, and times

brilliantwhite · 07/07/2013 22:47

id go to a garage and make sure the tyre was deliberately damaged before i called the police , as for the smashed bottle it could be anyone, sometimes when you have had a disagreement with someone they are the first to blame, but its not always the case.

LessMissAbs · 07/07/2013 22:47

Sorry, but what on earth is wrong with a camera? To record evidence? The OP might find it quite effective as a deterrent, or conceal the camera and record any "unusual" activities.

I think you will also find that the police might find a recording of any evidence useful.

MammaTJ · 08/07/2013 06:52

The NDN will not like you to have a camera-mine didn't, but it put a stop to her nonsense! Get one, then if they do anything else you will have evidence!

TimeofChange · 08/07/2013 07:08

Phone the council next time they burn waste.
It is illegal and it stinks.
