I've never seen nice spelled the correct way when used to describe ham.

It's overkill and it annoys me.

ShellyBoobs · 07/07/2013 00:22

apauled - I don't think people do that one for comic value.

They just do it when they can't spell.

LuisSuarezTeeth · 07/07/2013 00:28

I acksherly have ishoos with freds about freds even naice ones that I luffs. Anyone who disagrees, even discretely, is rood and norty.

"vair" is vair useful

Agree with OP that it is all about context

These spellings are different from the word when it is used in a different context.

I love that language can be messed with like this

LokiTheCynicalCat · 07/07/2013 05:16

volestair That reminds me of going shopping with a friends' list. I was doing well until I got to "Jews". Skipped it, thought he had an odd and inappropriate sense of humour and was all the way over at the till when he texted to tell me not to get "the orange Jews, but the pressed apple one"!

PattieOfurniture · 07/07/2013 08:44

Jews Smile

Volestair I'm trying to work out what x could be on your list, hot x buns?

Ohhhh eggs!!!!!

It's just clicked

OP posts:
OnTheNingNangNong · 07/07/2013 09:01

X could be eggs maybe?

WhereYouLeftIt · 07/07/2013 09:09

But are they misspellings, or are they new words entirely? E.g. yoof has a different meaning in my head to youth, ditto nice and naice.

PattieOfurniture · 07/07/2013 09:16

Iswym whereyou, they do to me too.
Like I said, it is the context in which they're used which makes a huge difference to the meaning.

PattieOfurniture · 07/07/2013 09:17

But many words have different meanings

OP posts:
MsAverage · 07/07/2013 09:18

Used once, fun. Used constantly - hmmm, poor sense of humor?

TwasBrillig · 07/07/2013 09:23

Most of these are just awful!

MsAverage · 07/07/2013 09:34

Guys, guys, do you know how exactly the hell look like? Here, French text message jargon. Things like G, Gt, Ct, V1, A+ and similar.
