to not want somebody else's name on my bottle of coke?

I don't want Anna's bottle. It makes me feel a bit uncomfortable drinking from a bottle with some else's name on it.

I haven't seen one with Mardy on it yet.

The thought of an abandoned Dean lying on a pedestrain crossing is truly, truly tragic. Dean just wasn't loved enough.

Lizzylou · 04/07/2013 20:05

It is exhausting scouring through shelves so you are not drinking from the bottles of evil bastard ex boyfriends, crushes or mean girls from school.

Mine was Wayne today. No bad memories, tasted lush .
Life, I need one.

noisytoys · 04/07/2013 20:12

spangledboots · 04/07/2013 20:13

The one bottle I did have had Monika on it...thought it was quite unusual amongst all the Davids and Sarahs

SigmundFraude · 04/07/2013 20:15

I had Darren today. Prefer Pepsi though.

MardyBra · 04/07/2013 20:24

Did Darren enjoy it Sigmund?

I had to drink Paul's yesterday... Made me quite uncomfortable.

Loulybelle · 04/07/2013 20:27

I've had many names, if i cant find my own, i have a friend called Nick, and they dont have that on their list.

Find your name

EleanorFarjeon · 04/07/2013 20:33

This name on bottles thing is giving me anxiety. I can't have a naff name but I look a bit odd rootling through the bottles.

They're are far too many 'K' names left on the shelf.

Lizzylou · 04/07/2013 20:38

aldiwhore · 04/07/2013 21:02

I've stopped buying bloody coke. I think this is a GOOD THING, for my health, it's certainly a double edged marketing strategy.

ComposHat · 04/07/2013 21:06

irn bru have spoofed the whole thing with traditional Scottish names... I am out to get a Fanny one.

DeathByTray · 04/07/2013 21:07

Remotecontrolduck · 04/07/2013 21:35

I feel awkward about someone else's name being on my coke too!

My name isn't there, never is on anything Sad

TeaCuresEverything · 04/07/2013 21:53

I came home yesterday to find dh with his lips around a bottle called Helen. I wouldn't mind, but that's his mothers name! Shock

Bosgrove · 05/07/2013 13:38

There was a massive queue outside my local Tescos this morning. Coke people were there with label printing machines and they would put any name you wanted on the bottle....not telling my children this as they would moan that I refuse to queue for ages while my frozen food melts just to get the name on a plastic bottle when I don't like them having coke anyway.

SoupDragon · 05/07/2013 13:42

I prefer my come in a can

[weeps]

domesticslattern · 05/07/2013 13:57

I spent an age rootling through with everyone getting annoyed behind me.
Still haven't found mine yet.
I keep finding ones for friends... who hate coke. Waah.

youmeatsix · 05/07/2013 14:00

the ONLY way to drink coke is from a glass bottle!

StealthPolarBear · 05/07/2013 14:00

This thread is brilliant!
Is there a website with a list of tbe names? Dh's is common as muck. I always wimp out and get the "friends" ones
