It's driving me nuts. They must have a huge pump and a big drop of water which i can't see through the hedge but it makes one hell of a noise 24/7. We can't open our windows at night, because the noise of water flowing/falling is so loud. TBH, don't even want to go into my garden in the daytime because of this noise. I don't wan't to have a disagreement with my nieighbour but need to get this sorted. All advice gratefully received.

They shouldn't turn it off at night if they have fish, that's like turning of an aquarium pump.

I feel your pain. My neighbours are in the process of putting in a pond with water feature. I’m dreading it, and considering moving. I had 3 years of a previous neighbour’s water feature keeping me awake at night. Couldn’t have my windows open or have the patio doors open. Even with them closed it was like listening to a bath running. So stressful. Current neighbour’s don’t consider or care about anyone but themselves so there will be no point asking them to turn it off, or turn it down.
