I sat in a KS1 Geography lesson today.
We were looking at the country Spain.
Teacher told the children that never snowed there and that the only way to get there was to fly.
What about the Pyrenees?

No experience of modern teachers but when I was in primary school, in the 90s, i got a mark taken off for saying that the French word pamplemousse meant grapefruit. My teacher said it meant fruit mousse. Serious.

Though i was quite a precocious wee bastard.
