To think you shouldn't smoke around babies?

Especially ones in a pushchairs looking thoroughly grey and bored with a fucking oxygen line up their nose?

DD2 has been ill and I saw this fine tableau outside the children's unit of our hospital today. 2 sets of parents 2 pushchairs (could only see 1 baby clearly) sat in the burning sun smoking (in a smoke free hospital grounds I might add) next to their child who looked very unwell.

I'm an ex smoker I'm in no doubt with ill babies they are under stress but seriously wtaf are they thinking?

Most of you need to wear a little plastic bubble me'thinks, what with smokers, and car fumes, and pollution, and pesticides, and aerosols, and air fresheners TBH I'm amazed all of MN isn't writhing on the floor clutching wildly at their throats. It would make a change from clutching pearls I suppose.

Not only that but oxygen + cigarette = a fire!
