My Moist Hanky

Hello yes,

I am having a problem. It is with the hayfever which makes my nose and eyes run. I am forever blowing my nose and I do take drugs for this but they do not work so well. As such, my hanky (is this the correct word?) gets very moist so I have been leaving it on my desk, draped over the edge so it can dry between snot blasts.

As it is a hayfever Nose and not a cold nose cold I assume that there are minimal germs carried within the hanky, but a colleague said it was a bit disgusting (she brushed against my hanky) though I generally work alone.

Is this a bit disgusting or is it ok to be drying my hanky?

Take a handful of hankies and chuck them in your bag or pocket when soggy. If you prefer disposables, dispose!

I like your thinking shatnersbassoon, and your name too. I enjoy Star Trek but was unaware of Kirk's musical prowess. I wipe used earwax on my socks, I think that is similar
