Sounds delicious..will try next time I go.
Fair trade has complex applications and understandings..same as Organic, ..be careful of flaming others..

hugoagogo · 25/06/2013 22:02

Well yes, would you believe I was involved with a fair trade charity 20 years ago, but things are complex; especially in Rwanda and tea has (I am told) played a big part in the country's recovery over the last 10 years or so.

I really didn't want to get into the ethics of tea- just that it tastes really good, but if anyone knows where I can buy rwandan tea that is fair trade, I would love to give it a try.

Apileofballyhoo

Does everybody buy fair trade everything or is it just tea that gets pounced on?

If you aren't buying fair trade bog rolls and air freshener then you might as well just black up, because it's basically the same.

McNewPants2013 · 25/06/2013 22:17

I will get my mum to buy them, she will drink any tea.

JamieandtheMagicTorch · 25/06/2013 22:57

I'd like to try it.

Wonderstuff · 25/06/2013 23:02

flatpackhamster that made me cry so funny.

ladylambkin · 25/06/2013 23:05

I bought them...they were reduced to 50p a box. What a bargain

Onethingatatime · 25/06/2013 23:09

PMSL at flatpack!

hugoagogo · 26/06/2013 16:11

They have disappeared from my asda. Shock

Not even an empty space, does that mean they have stopped making them, do you think?

I really need an alternative source of rwandan tea. Sad

Has anyone tried Tescos own brand decaf teabags? They make a good cuppa!

hugoagogo · 26/06/2013 17:50

Yeah I have, they are not bad for decaf.

YANBU! We've been buying them for months now, very reasonably priced and they do make a nice cup, clean and bright.

I got 3 boxes for 50p each the other day, hope they aren't disconned Hmm

FreudiansSlipper · 26/06/2013 19:41
