I know it's about parking... Sorry!

I just can't believe such people exist.

I was walking to the shop entrance from the car park, 9 months pregnant plus 2 year old DD in a buggy and a childless lady in a normal sized car was just getting out in a parent & child space... I barely glanced over at her and yet she still felt the need to defend herself.. 'I've had children for 12 years, I can park here if I want to. I don't like people hitting my car with their doors!'

I said 'I didn't say anything?'

And she went on to say if I had been nice and approached her she would have given me the space. (I had already parked on the other side.) another couple getting out of a disabled bay on the other side overheard and pointed out that the sign said the space was reserved for parents with buggies, not lone women who were worried about their doors, and she pointed out that they didn't look very disabled and went into the shopping centre.

So I took a photo of her number plate, took it to the parking office and the gave her a £60 fine.

So... Was I unreasonable to do this? Wink Because it felt great to be honest, she should have just said nothing!!

YABU to do it to get her back from saying something and being rude, YANBU to do it because she shouldn't have been parking there.
