Been lucky until now.
8 yo ds crawling with them. Put 'debac' (sp?) on over night but the buggers are still running round.
What is the best thing to use?

My DD had them for the first time at 17 (WTAF) She has extremely long and extremely thick hair Sad and she had loads and loads of nits and eggs. Shock

We decided that we didnt want to take any chances so used Hedrin and a nit combed. We did this for several days in a row, then every couple of days for about ten days or so. I spent hours doing it but we did get rid of them in one swoop.

I think it is worth the effort to do it really thoroughly once and for all. There isn't a magic cure that does the work for you. It must be difficult with little kids though.

Robi comb is a battery operated metal nit comb that zaps them dead on contact. It doesnt clear the eggs. Just kills the live ones. But it is handy to use as a daily comb through without having to wash, condition and nitty gritty which can be time consuming and impractical every day.
