Without bubbling?

Every bloody time. It's just so sweet.

It's Toy Story 3 that does it for me. DS sends me out of the room!

hermioneweasley · 21/06/2013 19:10

I was a mess when I saw it n the cinema. Had nowt but half an old, crumpled tissue. It was not sufficient.

aldiwhore · 21/06/2013 19:11

YANBU. It's always okay to blub when something touches you (metaphorically speaking)

dopeysheep · 21/06/2013 19:15

I hate Up. The woman gets a raw deal from the start and the grumpy bloody balloon seller gets to do everything.
It's toss.

Binkyridesagain · 21/06/2013 19:17

I don't blub at it, I just get grit in both eyes everytime at that point in the film. I have the same problem when I watch Watership Down, Marley and Me, and quite a few other films, I think I need to start doing some dusting, it is getting to be quite a problem. Grin

pollycazalet · 21/06/2013 19:20

Me too.

And as for Toy Story 3 I cried for ages and couldn't even discuss it until the next day.

pollycazalet · 21/06/2013 19:21

Caveat - I even welled up at wreck it ralph.

Mummybookworm · 21/06/2013 19:23

I have never been able to face watching it. I have heard many times about the bit that makes people cry. I have never bought it for DD because I know if I started crying I wouldn't stop!

CoolStoryBro · 21/06/2013 19:26

I even blub when I'm driving and the kids watch it in the car when I CAN'T EVEN SEE IT!! Blush
I love Up. It's such a great film.

moggiek · 21/06/2013 19:27

I've been known to well up when I only hear the music ....

Stepissue · 21/06/2013 19:32

I started crying the other day when someone was talking about Toy Story, I can't bear the thought of the toys being given away, waaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

ShabbyButNotChic · 21/06/2013 19:34

Oh god yanbu! I watched this for the first time recently when i babysat my friends kids, sobbed my heart out! Full on snotty loud crying. Even my partner bawled his eyes out had something in his eye...the kids looked at us like we were freaks, they thought that was the boring bit and were waiting for the talking dog!

TerraNotSoFirma · 21/06/2013 19:35

I watched UP for the first time, only 5 days after having my first child who we were ttc for ages.
BIG MISTAKE. HUGE.
I cried through most of it, as well as the opening scenes, when the mummy bird was trying to get back to her babies just about finished me off.

I'll second homeward bound as well.

ChairmanWow · 21/06/2013 19:37

overreaction - similar. I saw it for the first fine a few weeks after a miscarriage. You'd think 3 years and 2 healthy kids later I'd be able to stay dry-eyed but nope. Blubbed like a baby last time I saw it and probably always will. Curse Pixar and their heartstring-tugging stories.

PoppyWearer · 21/06/2013 19:38

I am still working up the courage to watch it. Was given the DVD 2 Christmases ago and blamed pregnancy hormones back then. Not sure what my excuse is anymore.

PrettyKitty1986 · 21/06/2013 19:43

Me too, literally sob.

I will third homeward bound...my 3 and 5 year olds can watch it without a sniff but I go to pieces at the end every time. Shadow! He's allliiiivvvveee!

ChickChickChickChicken · 21/06/2013 19:46

Just reading this thread about it is making my lip wobble.

TerraNotSoFirma · 21/06/2013 19:54

And (as I've just discovered in the last 15mis) in cars, when lightning McQueen pushes the old car to the finish line, the dedication at the end to a cast member who died and the very sad song during the credits.

What the hell is wrong with me?

mrsjay · 21/06/2013 21:09

Goodbye Mog" umpteen times and always blub at that which is ultra embarrassing given its for little kids....

meg and mog were about when i was wee I was devastated to read goodbye mog I properly sniffled I had to put it down Blush ( i was in a book shop with dd2 and saw it Blush)

I cried at dispicable me on saturday

mrsjay · 21/06/2013 21:13

Saw this in the cinema in the middle of our ttc hell - there was loud sobbing coming from my seat and I still cry watching it now, even though DS is here and healthy!

Aww every time a thread like this comes up, We thought we were being oh so smug seeing toy story 3 in AMerica before it came out here I was in floods snot and sobbing DD1 is the same age as Andy she had just left school I was a wee bit emotional

CocacolaMum · 21/06/2013 21:15

every single time, it ruins me. I love it though

TrinityRhino · 21/06/2013 21:18

every time definitely

and toy story 3

but the all time biggest 'great huge wracking sobs' moment was at the end of The Green Mile

I was all wobbly and sad for about 10 mins after too Blush

but its an amazing film

mrsjay · 21/06/2013 21:22

I love the Green mile I think i have seen it a million times and every single bloody time I cry I even start crying before the sad bits

Meglet · 21/06/2013 21:29

Maybe we won't watch 'Up' tomorrow then. It was going to be that or ET, I can't stand ET but at least it won't make me cry.

ParadiseChick · 21/06/2013 21:33

Yes to Green Mile! Forrest Gump too.
