It's Toy Story 3 that does it for me. DS sends me out of the room!

I was a mess when I saw it n the cinema. Had nowt but half an old, crumpled tissue. It was not sufficient.

YANBU. It's always okay to blub when something touches you (metaphorically speaking)

I hate Up. The woman gets a raw deal from the start and the grumpy bloody balloon seller gets to do everything.
It's toss.

I don't blub at it, I just get grit in both eyes everytime at that point in the film. I have the same problem when I watch Watership Down, Marley and Me, and quite a few other films, I think I need to start doing some dusting, it is getting to be quite a problem. Grin

Me too.

And as for Toy Story 3 I cried for ages and couldn't even discuss it until the next day.

I have never been able to face watching it. I have heard many times about the bit that makes people cry. I have never bought it for DD because I know if I started crying I wouldn't stop!

Oh god yanbu! I watched this for the first time recently when i babysat my friends kids, sobbed my heart out! Full on snotty loud crying. Even my partner bawled his eyes out had something in his eye...the kids looked at us like we were freaks, they thought that was the boring bit and were waiting for the talking dog!

I watched UP for the first time, only 5 days after having my first child who we were ttc for ages.
BIG MISTAKE. HUGE.
I cried through most of it, as well as the opening scenes, when the mummy bird was trying to get back to her babies just about finished me off.

I'll second homeward bound as well.

overreaction - similar. I saw it for the first fine a few weeks after a miscarriage. You'd think 3 years and 2 healthy kids later I'd be able to stay dry-eyed but nope. Blubbed like a baby last time I saw it and probably always will. Curse Pixar and their heartstring-tugging stories.

I am still working up the courage to watch it. Was given the DVD 2 Christmases ago and blamed pregnancy hormones back then. Not sure what my excuse is anymore.

Me too, literally sob.

I will third homeward bound...my 3 and 5 year olds can watch it without a sniff but I go to pieces at the end every time. Shadow! He's allliiiivvvveee!

And (as I've just discovered in the last 15mis) in cars, when lightning McQueen pushes the old car to the finish line, the dedication at the end to a cast member who died and the very sad song during the credits.

What the hell is wrong with me?

Saw this in the cinema in the middle of our ttc hell - there was loud sobbing coming from my seat and I still cry watching it now, even though DS is here and healthy!

Maybe we won't watch 'Up' tomorrow then. It was going to be that or ET, I can't stand ET but at least it won't make me cry.
