To want to be a 'prolific' poster

It's a thread inspired by another thread but it is different. This is all about ME. I want to get on the top ten posters list but there is no way that I am posting hundreds of intresting, insightful, and time consuming posts. So I made this thread just for me.

I will get started then.

I am not prolific. Nor am I popular.

The trouble with being a "prolific poster" is that in my experience it's frequently an outward display of emotional turmoil.

I speak from experience when I say that when I've spent "too much time in chatrooms" it's been because I was desperately unhappy with actual life.

IAgree I do think a slight tweak to your username will help. You need to nc to IAgreeCompletelyWithBaldy. See? Perfection, non?

I particularly liked the post at Mon 17-Jun-13 01:19:39 where OP expresses how she suffers for her art.

Try starting a thread around prime time not the dead of night: that's in the morning after the school run, lunch time and the evening. Things go really quiet at around 5pm when I assume everyone is having their tea.

Being on the top ten posters list doesn't mean you are the most prolific though.

You could be on that thread simply by posting a lot on one thread. And if that one thread was a post natal group for instance, you would only be well known to that particular handful of posters.

Does it really matter anyway? A thread like this doesn't make you prolific or well known. Start a thread about having a massive great boil on your neck, or go and find some stray kittens, or have your neighbour ask for some free childcare. THEN you will be well known

I msaid that I can't possibly be prolific and interesting one trick pony me but I will carry on using fancy shapes to add a little je ne sais quoi
