AIBU to hope for a girl?

To prove all my bloody colleagues wrong? Angry

I'm 7 months pg and we don't want to know the sex of the baby. Every colleague who asks, "Is it a boy or a girl?" responds to my "We'll find out on the day," with, "OK, but it's a boy of course".

Yes, my bump is all at the front, but maybe, just maybe, that's how I'm built and nothing to do with whether my baby had a penis or vagina. Not that I care either way but I don't want my unborn child to reinforce all their lazy stereotypes.

I'm probably BU, but as I'm 7 months gone you can disagree with me at your peril Grin

Oh lighten up! I'm just having a bit of a winge among friends as I am unfailing polite to my colleagues add I know they're just being polite/making conversation but I'd still prefer them to just tell me I look fabulous

And I did say I was probably being unreasonable in the OP Wink

Everyone insisted I was pg with a boy with my first....despite me telling them I had 4 scans which showed girl....and I had a girl.

Both my pgs are very different, carrying very high and forward with both. Both girls. People talk out this ar*e. op I too am 7 months.

During my last pregnancy the people I worked with drove in insane going on about my bump and its size and how they can tell. People don't say it to be annoying though, but it is Wink

Have any of you guessed yourself from the scan pic?? Want a surprise though really

People might just be making conversation or whatever but why can't they say nice things? 'Ooh you look lovely/blooming/doesn't it suit you' instead all I got was 'wow you're massive/sure it's not twins/surely you can't have that long left' Hmm thanks.
