The song is really catchy but the sexism is just abhorrent. The line, 'I know you want it' just really grates on me. I haven't seen the video but I did see them perform on Graham Norton and I thought Robin Thicke looked very sleazy and the backing 'dancers' just offensive.

Timberlake reminds me of dribble and that whingey, whiney voice. Bluergh.

I'm truly, honestly baffled by him and Thicke's level of success, sex symbol status and the gorgeousness of their wives. Just goes to show if you love yourself enough others will too.

I heard Robin Thicke on the radio today; he said he had little to do with the idea for the video, other than he was amused by Benny Hill and wanted it to be shot along those lines. Then he said his producer or director (female I think?) came up with the idea of the naked women, but he felt he was a 'gentleman' so two different videos were shot,one naked and one fully-clothed. In the end he found the naked version the 'funniest' so went with that. Lame if you ask me, but I love the song (much to DP's disgust ) and Pharrell is going to marry me one day, so I'm letting this one go...

Disclaimer The radio interview was listened to in the car as he DCs were annoying/tormenting each other in the back and creating Merry Hell, so that's only the gist of what I think Robin Thicke said.

The song is shite The video is shite. Shitey shite.

The only redeeming quality was the amount of youtube comments saying it was sexist, misogynistic and "It's a song about rape, people! There are no blurred lines in sex, no means NO!" It was like seeing a tiny offshoot of mn on youtube.
