Admittedly I'm still hacked off that they unilaterally wiped all DD's and my favourite recordings before the switchover, but there seems to be far fewer programmes available on the catch up service. The BBC IPlayer is far more clunky and less user friendly. The on demand section for kids doesn't seem to have so much on it either.

The only thing it seems to have in abundance is BGT Biscuit

I love the whole thing about using the remote like you're writing a text message if you're searching for a programme.

Yeah,it's just like sending a text message - if you've got all your fingers taped together.
It's SO bloody infuriatingly slow.

Nowhere in the help section can I find a phone number to phone and complain - so now I'll have to waste time finding the number.
Then,as is inevitable, I'll get put through to the wrong section,be put on hold, and then find I've been cut off......

I'm trying to remind myself why I pay them so much of my hard earned money per month. I have lost my recording of my very favourite Grand Designs ever, and flicking through on demand tv today I couldn't find a single thing I wanted to watch.

I just checked out BT as I was pretty disappointed with Sky's broadband issues throughout the summer. BT looked interesting and they seemed to beat Sky on cost for the whole shebang too. I decided to look into the whole TV, phone and broadband package.
We're not in a BT infinity area so apparently I can't get the BT Vision packages at all. According to the BT representative I spoke to there are no children's channels apart from the CBBC and CBeebies offerings on freeview. Did families with children suddenly become a small minority that the BT marketing team could just accidentally forget about? Wink Looks like I'll be staying with Sky.

It's AWFUL. I agree with all the negative points. And none of the positive. It feels as if it was designed to be touchscreen but it's not touchscreen, iyswim? I find it infuriating that there's less choice and it's harder to get to the choices that do exist. I hate the fact I can barely read it. Not everyone wants a whacking great room filling TV!

Skoggers we're not in an Infinity area either but we have BT Vision. For what it's worth, which isn't much.
