That DS's (5) favourite TV show is "You've been framed" and he saw the "Dueling Piano" act on BGT and thought it was brilliant Shock.

Where the fuck have I gone wrong.

Children are allowed to have low tastes! Otherwise there's nothing to reject when they grow up and discover real culture later in life Smile

Gigondas · 01/06/2013 19:52

SmileSmileGrin - I had to check my cale far didn't say 1976 as the piano act was so retro.

HoHoHoNoYouDont · 01/06/2013 19:53

You'll have SS knocking soon. The poor kid is being dragged up. Grin

Bobyan · 01/06/2013 19:54

I'm so embarrassed.

My sister wanted to marry Mr Blobby as a child (Noel's house party era). She turned out ok in the end Grin

Bobyan · 01/06/2013 20:00

I even feed him hummus, that's cultured isn't it?

You need to buy him the home alone box set if he likes you've been framed.

CocacolaMum · 01/06/2013 20:03

YANBU quickly unplug your tv and just stick to listening to Mozart on a loop until he is reprogrammed x

IneedAyoniNickname · 01/06/2013 20:21

My 2 ds, 8 and 6, love you've been framed! the youngest nearly wets himself laughing, and they spend the whole time saying "come on mummy, why aren't you laughing, its funny"

Madame they saw Home Alone a couple of weeks ago, and loved it Grin

But their favourite films are The Sound Of Music, and Phantom of The Opera, so I can't have gone too wrong surely? :)

chirpchirp · 01/06/2013 20:25

It's DS's favourite programme too. He is 2. He calls it uh-oh! "Mummy want to watch uh-oh" and then laughs like a drain while shouting "uh-oh! Fell in the water!" "Uh-oh! Fell over bang head!".

I'd be ashamed if he wasn't so ridiculously entertaining in his narration whilst watching it!

pictish · 01/06/2013 20:26

My kids looooove YBF! 11, 5 and 4 - they all crease at it.
Harry Hill is quite funny.
Hate the ones that look painful.

Thesebootsweremadeforwalking · 01/06/2013 20:26

YBF is also DS' fave (he's 4).... He also rather likes BGT, especially when the acts get buzzed off!

I blame the parents Grin or more specifically DH who puts them on telly for him on purpose

Bobyan · 01/06/2013 20:35

At least I'm not alone, maybe a YBF support thread is the next step.

I don't even want to mention how he loves to sing "Mooonpig dotcommmmm".

YANBU.

My three year old daughter loves YBF and calls it the funnies. she also loves a bit of catchphase.

Fakebook · 01/06/2013 22:33

My dd (5) loves YBF too. She calls it "funny" because that's what she named Harry Hill when he used to be on TV Burp when she Was about 3. She recognised his voice the first time she watched it. I personally hate the programme and can't stand the stupid clips and computerised laughter.

DrHolmes · 01/06/2013 22:34

I'm 26 and I love YBF and I'm not even embarrassed! Also, i felt sorry for the keyboard playing guy as his partner had pulled out but he looked like he was havin a great time!

MyNameIsSuz · 03/06/2013 09:08

Are you all mental? I love YBF!!!

MrsMagpieCovetsShinyThings · 03/06/2013 09:26

my 31 year old husband loves it. sits there laughing away while I'm sat there with a cats bum mouth!
