A whole wholemeal bloomer today with real butter? It was so yummy and I just couldn't stop myself.

Was it warm too? I love warm bread with real butter...

Eeep!

It depends. That's a whole lot of carbs and fat but, as long as you didn't and don't eat anything else today, it's not going to do you any harm for once.

Flobb, I did toast most of it and the butter melted into the depths of its sumptuous yummy soul. :)

I never know how to answer these threads and whether the OPs are being lighthearted or not.

So I suppose it depends on why you're asking if you're being unreasonable?

Sounds looooovely.

The last time I bought soda bread I went for a slice and ate the lot over the course of the next few hours. A 400g loaf, with butter! I regret nothing...

Sorry, YANBU.

I've had a small baked potato too with a little cheese and coleslaw and 4 small choc biscuits. I'm poorly, that's my excuse. I'm not going to eat more than 500 calories tomorrow.

I'm being light hearted. I very rarely even buy bread but that bloomer was beyond gorgeous. I only had a small slither of butter.

Ok, well, according to MFP:

bloomer (dependent on size) - 850-1000cals approx
butter (dependent on amount) - 1000 cals approx
small baked potato - about 120 cals
small amount cheese - about 100 cals
coleslaw - about 100 cals
4 small choc biscuits - about 200 cals

Total - around 2500 cals

So, if you have 500 tomorrow, you will be fine!

SO YWBU but not too much

Haha, thanks manic. I only had scraping of butter, o don't like it thick. That's a huge number of calories. I'm a pig but tomorrow I will fast to make up for it.

1000 cals of butter is over half a pack!

Yanbu. It's not as though you're doing it everyday is it? It's probably better than having a KFC (my absolute favourite dirty take away food)

Yanbu.

Have been known to eat a whole box of millies cookies to myself... about 12 of them at 190 calories each. Oops.

YANBU, nothing wrong with treating yourself to some carby fatty food now and again, and it sounds delicious.

Sounds delicious! I'm eating an Almond Magnum for dinner.

oopsadaisymaisy · 31/05/2013 20:58

Ooh, I love an almond magnum, although nothing beats a mint choc chip lol or cornetto.

YABU for the butter alone. I can not stand butter, margarine or another type of spread of that ilk.

I couldn't eat that much bread, but I do love brown toast with Marmite so the Marmite soaks in.
