All the hype, the TV programmes, the excitement.

8 years old. Lined up in school in front of the TV.......

And a small bit of soggy wood appeared.

No masts. No skeletons. Not even looked like a flaming ship.

Gutted.

I loved it - I was glued to the TV! Has anyone else seen the facial reconstructions and details of some of the crew members on the BBC website?

I'm quite wanting to go and see the new exhibition. Looks very intresting.

We bought an annual family dockyard pass from groupon for under £30 as don't live that far away from it so can get down there a few times a year. It is a brilliant day out if you like that kind of thing.

I didn't get to watch TV, so never saw all the Blue Peter.

But we did live near Portsmouth, and I did get to go and see it a few years after it'd been brought up - it was being showered with water and it was huge, and I thought it was amazing. And spooky.

I'd just read about the new exhibition and was feeling cheated I never saw any of this Blue Peter stuff they mentioned, but now I feel like maybe it wasn't the better deal. Grin

Wasn't there some accident where the crane dropped it and a bit broke? Or did i imagine that?
