To wonder why no-one in spot adverts has actually got spots?

Just watched the Freederm advert.

All the teenagers in it had the clearest skin I've ever seen. Not one spot amongst any of them.

Why would any of them need a spot product? Do the advertisers think we are plankton?

And waxing/shaving on already hair free legs!! They should use a gorilla!!

No its the supermodels who dye their own hair (oh yeah, I believe that) or profess to use some cheapo brand (I think not).

Also, the ads with some woman flaunting her gorgeous, thick locks and teensy writing on the screen saying that, basically, part is a weave/wig. Orrrrr, the 'new and improved' stuff (so it was 'old and crap' before?), that's barely on the market. So the actress/singer/model had been pre-trialing it for a few months has she (like a vivisection bunny?). How kind if her. Otherwise, how would she know how well the stuff works for her?

Argh the hair removal on hair-free legs makes me so mad!

And I love the cobbled together "families" - model mum, model dad, impossibly gorgeous blond children with perfect teeth.

Reminds me of that Athena poster where the topless, muscle-bound hunk is gazing down at the baby in his arms and someone has graffitied a speech bubble from the baby saying, "You're not my dad!"
