LOVE the apprentice, but as the years go by it seems that instead of looking for bright entrepreneurs they have sought out the most obnoxious, big headed goits they could find.

Watched the first episode and switched it off after twenty minutes because I could feel the Rage coming on with the bickering and out-shouting and arrogance from the candidates. Made me really uncomfortable.

AIBU to no longer watch it, even though I used to love it and enjoy the concept. Should I give it another chance, do they calm down?

I've given up on the Apprentice this year, I just can't bear to watch it, it's got too cringey.

However, DH went to university with someone on it this time, and is watching it and grimly claiming 'he's alright ... he's doing fine ... the others are awful'.

Please tell me they're all shit?

I find it quite entertaining. The train wrecks are usually filtered out by week 4.

They are indeed utter knobs. The guy who said that he would cheat and manipulate to get where he wants . The ladies have let the side down, where do they get them!

I prefered it when they had older people on the show with different experiences.

Its as if they got the big brother casting person in to cast the show.

Who really wants to see a lot of women who all look alike (too much make-up, hair extenstions, botox lips) and guys who look like they should all be called slick rick. Its so bland and its boring.

When it first started, it did try and be a bit respectable and now it is just full of cringey Tools BUT if you can get passed the first episode it is mesmerizing.
If I've had a bad day at work it's cathartic almost, as I think 'ahh so and so IS a dick but not in THAT league at least' and I go back to work and no-one gets injured

The first series was good. It's been dreadful since then. The contestants are so brash and full of themselves, and only picked to make "good TV" (i.e. bad TV)

It is shit, isn't it? I stopped watching it ages ago - it's typical of the dumbing down that so many shows seem to go through. Srallan must be feeling the pinch if he needs to appear on such dross.
