yet another letter home saying the nits are in the school yet again, this is the 4th letter home this month.

how hard is it to get a bottle of cheap conditinor and a tooth comb and go through a child hair.

especially during 1/2 and end of terms holidays

I don't Hedrin every week...only when he's got something there to be exterminated. I know very quickly when my DC have nits - I'm not one of those people who find millions of the little things. I think some people are just oblivious to them.

I was on a course once with a woman who had them obviously crawling around her hair. Also on the course was her partner, who as far as I was aware, had he good enough eyesight to drive, a job earning enough for him to be able to afford a decent car, and holidays abroad, but neither neither of them realised she had nits, or weren't dealing with them for some reason. He and their DS had buzz cuts.

I'm getting itchy reading this.

I saw one nit crawling around dd's side plait outside school a few weeks ago and came home and combed her hair and took it out. Luckily no eggs were in her head the next day, so caught it quickly. It was my first nit experience with dd and was quite pleased with myself.

Now we have a quick check in the head every morning and evening. Only takes a few seconds to look at the nape of the neck and behind the ears.
