We're taking family out for dinner tonight. Do wanted to go Italian, I thought it would be a bit expensive so we booked local place instead. Dbil texted to say we couldn't go to where we'd booked as he thought owner is an arse. So we book Italian instead. Mil then says, "oh, can't we go somewhere nicer?"

I was brought up to believe that if someone is taking you out you are just grateful and don't moan about it? (Italian place is lovely, mil just thinks it's wrong to pay for some pasta and sauce...)

What a waste of money.

Should've taken me, I'd have been grateful Wink

They did give the tip, and asked where we're taking them next week. It was fine though, I'm stuffed! Need a beer now once kids are in bed.

You should have taken me. If someone was paying for me i would feel guilty and order the cheapest and probably just order a main meal.

So you were paying so they should go where you take them. Cheeky bunch. Don't bother taking them anywhere again. And go out and have a nice meal yourself.

YANBU they are bloody rude.

I was always going to agree with you though as with a name like yours we're obviously on the same wavelength!

Sorry gin, I got weighed down under a tremendous, Jamaican BBQ. I'm uncharacteristically down south at the mo. Grin

How was it?
