You could always join me <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=www.islandhideaways.com/wire/assets/files/2083/necker-island-2.jpg&imgrefurl=www.islandhideaways.com/private-islands/villas/necker-island/&h=480&w=700&sz=202&tbnid=Kv-mrgc2u88xqM:&tbnh=90&tbnw=131&zoom=1&usg=__mIGQi7oWKy9NJlW6oxTTVpmueRM=&docid=sgaQMfaFeGqt2M&hl=en&sa=X&ei=AOmEUdUeyNfRBcjggPAB&ved=0CFIQ9QEwBA&dur=643" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">here Wink

Sparklingbrook · 04/05/2013 12:09

Ooh yes, let's go to Chaotic's place. Grin

DS1 is in his bedroom crying his eyes out. Sad

Buzzardbird · 04/05/2013 12:15

As long as I don't have to listen to branston droning on with his sympathetic head tilt.

Joiningthegang · 04/05/2013 12:18

Please can I come too - but no kid at all - remember the thread where the girls hotel holiday was arranged and someone asked of they could bring their small daughter? Noooooooo you can't bring a child.

Can't wait ..... Off to pack

ChaoticTranquility · 04/05/2013 13:21

Joining I'm leaving mine at home but then again they are 18 & 20 Grin

Sparkling hope DS1 cheers up soon. It's not easy when your child is upset. I'd rather be upset myself than one of my DC, even now.

Buzzard John Bishop is very welcome :)

Sparklingbrook · 04/05/2013 13:32

Well i started a thread asking how to cheer him up and got my bum kicked for not seeing it from the refs point of view so I had best leave the country Chaotic

JollyPurpleGiant · 04/05/2013 13:39

Yesterday morning DS woke us at 5. He wasn't very keen on going back to sleep so I went through to his room with him. He then punched me in the face. Twice. I was especially grumpy due to yesterday being the funeral of a friend and mentor. By 8am I was ready to put DS on eBay.

Thankfully DS is a lot less terrible twos and more angelic today. I could do with a few days away though. Just me and my kindle sounds ideal.

elfycat · 04/05/2013 13:43

OK I'm in. DH is off work for the next 2 weeks so I have childcare (currently asleep. The 2DDs are asleep, even the 2DCats are asleep) I'm revising for an exam but at least it's quiet and no one is fighting. I can put the revising off for a week or so if there's going to be Wine or [strange cocktail, served out of a coconut with an umbrella, tasting mostly of coconut]

I'm so sick of saying 'Stop kicking!' and 'I don't care who started it no hitting' followed by 'Well, stop winding your sister up then'.

I won't need a man/actor etc. for myself. Just the drinks, sleep and child exclusion zone.

Bossybritches22 · 04/05/2013 13:43

Can I come?

My plans to get loads done in the garden today has been scuppered by the fecking weather.

Played okey-cokey with the washing (in , out & shake it all about) have given up & got the inside rack out & set up the ironing board. Having a cuppa & a quick MN to get my strength up Wink

Chaotic Necker Island is my lottery holiday destination- a mere $50K per night........I shall hire a private jet & fly all my lovely friends & family over.

Who wants on the list from here then?

ChaoticTranquility · 04/05/2013 13:45

I didn't see that Sparkling, I don't see why you should have got flamed though Confused It's possible to see things from the refs point of view and cheer your son up at the same time.

Jolly you're welcome to join us.

ChaoticTranquility · 04/05/2013 13:45

ref's Blush

Sparklingbrook · 04/05/2013 13:47

Ds1 still in his room. Sad

ChaoticTranquility · 04/05/2013 13:49

Grin at playing hokey-cokey with the washing.

I have to pop out to visit my mum to check the private plane is ready to fly everyone who wants to come over there, so I'll leave the list making in your capable hands Bossy

Flobbadobs · 04/05/2013 14:17

Can I come? DD1 is having a stay awake all night over tonight, DD2 thinks that 5.30 is an acceptable get up time and DS is being a grumpy pre teen. DH has a chest infection as well and has been sleeping on the sofa so he can be propped up and has to be shifted upstairs when we get up at the crack of sodding dawn.
I am bringing Rhod Gilbert. And Jon Richardson. And possibly Sean Lock.
But no DC's Grin

BlackeyedSusan · 04/05/2013 14:29

i'm in. who has a teenager spare to mind the children?

I hope 18 month old dd jumps on daddy when it is his turn to have a lie in...

getting woken up to "i dunna poooo" is worse. not happened for a while though. ds got up before 5 this moning with pains in his tummy... tht would be because you were too tired to eat your dinner then... made toaast

Sparklingbrook · 04/05/2013 14:52

DS1 can mind the children. They will have to go up to his bedroom though as he's not coming out. Sad

likesnowflakesinanocean · 04/05/2013 15:30
