and sit in my treehouse leisurely picking off my neighbours bastarding cockerels.
At 4:45 am dd (7 months) gets woken.
Just because we chose to live rural does not mean we need less sleep than town folk grrrrrrrr

I have a cockerel.
Also have a lot of noise from owls,pheasants and wood pigeons.

None of them ever wake me,or the DC's.

I do hope you are not being serious OP. Us country folk have enough to contend with without having to deal with idiots who move to the country because they think it is quiet.
