To take my bra back and demand a refund even though it has been worn all day?

I had a bra consultation yesterday. Lovely lady who helped me a lot. Except... today I am wearing my new bra, carefully chosen and fitted by a professional and I want to kill myself it's so uncomfortable. Can I legitmately take it back on the basis that i didn't choose an incorrect bra by myself. It seemed comfortable in the shop, the lady agreed it was the right size and now clearly it is NOT.

Was it Bravissimo? They'll take it back even if you've worn it a few times and washed it.

Sometimes they are a bit stiff. I am a 30G (I know!) and I was fitted and it seemed fine, a bit firm but OK. After wearing it it kept digging in. I washed it and its much better and I also adjusted the straps and that made a big difference too...

I got new bras becuase I've lost a tiny bit of weight which, combined with the fact that my old bras were a bit old and therefore had stretched, they were too big and getting uncomfortable. but right now they're looking appealing in comparison.

I went to Bravissimo 3 months after getting some new bras as I was so uncomfortable (and, despite the agony, hadn't managed to get back in before then, and was resorting to padded sticking plaster to help ) and was really surprised when I got offered an exchange on them (all) despite having worn and washed them.

Watching with interest, I am the proud owner of about 1 billion bras that were professionally fitted by a seemingly evil sadist.

If I can take them all back i'm going on holiday with my droopy non-bra wearing bust .

I took one back to Bravissimo, I'd worn it for a day in summer so it was definitely not ready to go back on the rack IYSWIM. The fitter (not the one who I'd seen the previous day) apologised profusely, then spent ages refitting me and was perfectly happy to refund. Their reputation (and I imagine most 'specialist' bra places) is based on getting you the best fit, so I can't imagine them not refunding.

Debenhams can be hit and miss with fitting. If you feel able to measure yourself and put them up on here then the experts will be able to let you know if the size sounds about right as it could be a size or style issue. Measure tightly around your underboob and then lean over so your boobs dangle towards the floor with no bra on and then measure loosely around them.

I did this with the bra which 'fitted me PERFECTLY!' according to the idiot fitter at Mothercare. I hadn't worn it all day but I had taken the label off, managed to wear it for about ten minutes getting ready for work then had to take it off as it was leaving red welts in my sides. They didn't argue just refunded it as I still had the label and the receipt, I was ready for a fight with them but perhaps they could sense my hormonal pregnant lady rage and just gave me a refund so that I didn't have some sort of violent meltdown in the middle of the store?

Technically, AFAIK they don't have to refund you, as it was ultimately your decision to buy it, even based on their recommendation, but in my eyes, if they offer a bra fitting service that turns out to be inadequate, it would be good CS to offer you at least a replacement, if not a refund.

I think I'm going to have to at least try. I'm so frustrated. And I bought two the same in different colours!

I would at least try it for a week and wash it to soften it down a bit and then if it's still no good then yes I would return it.
