Would you think this was a fair price to pay someone to have your child for half an hour in the morning then drop them at school, drive to your house bed walk the dog for an hour then later collect the child at. 3.30 and take care of them until 6.30 providing after school snack and a full cooled meal.

Oh dear in that case a huge amount of grand parents who get the odd tenner when they look after gc's are going to have problems then.

I would say £25 and not make dinner optional.

There is an exclusion in the children act for family so grandparents etc are fine.

Op, it would be much easier in terms if childcare registers etc if you looked after the child at its house rather than yours. That would mean you count as a nanny and do not have to be foster registered.

There are different rules for relatives. But not for friends.

I stand corrected. I didnt think about cash changing hands changing the situation as occasionally I am stupid Blush I was thinking about where you look after a friends kids one day and they look after yours another day.
