AIBU to expect having painless sex 6 months after c-section?

I had sex with DH missionary (6 months after c-section) thinking it would be fine and I got very into it and now I am paying the consequences (lots of pain in the scar area). AIBU to think I should be able to have to enjoy sex like I did before baby (all positions I like)?

And to 'top it' my baby kicked me in the scar area whilst BF. Any advice?

maybe your body just couldn't take the numbers of orgasms you had in one session; it's a lot of muscle work after all Wink

I'd get it checked just in case.

Blimey we didn't have sex for months, I was still bleeding up until about 4 -5 month post baby, we were both shattered and neither of us felt like at at all!

Have nothing to add as I've never had a section, other than Envy

Can't even manage 5 or 6 orgasms by myself let alone with DH! Grin

Everyone is different of course, but I thought the 'average' time for recovery was 3 months.
MotherofNations and Oddsigma, thank you for making me aware there is no limit on how many children you can have by c-section now.

MakeHay and Tarka 5 or 6 orgasms, not sure because I lost count, as I said, I got really into it and I am paying for it now

Szeli - 5 weeks here. I think officially outré meant to wait 6 weeks. I was still bleeding at 4 weeks.
Op- No pain with dtd then and now 8 months on.
But ds does have a knack f trying to stand on my scar and kicking it and that can hurt a bit.
I would try having slightly lazier sex again soon and if it hurt go to the dr.
