To expect people to be able to spell simple words correctly

So many times on FB, at work etc I see the words definitely (wrongly spelt definately) and separately (wrongly spelt seperately). It makes me very cross. Does bad spelling make you see red or AIBU?

Give me strength
So poor spelling is "lazy" is it?
I judge people who think this as crass, jumped up and unpleasant.
If you are a good speller this is fortunate indeed but in no way compensates for the unattractive personality defects of being intolerant and patronising.
