What can you see out of your window right now?

The window that's closest to wherever you are now. I thought of this this evening...there's a street near here where they've a lovely view of this old park and some Georgian houses....all I can see is my deserted cul de sac, a couple of cars and a cat.

My bedroom window looks out onto a courtyard with shops and a coffee bar so all I can see at the minute is darkness as they are all shut!

sydlexic · 11/04/2013 23:27

Cows, trees, yaughts.

DangerousBeanz · 11/04/2013 23:28

The reflection of the living room, its dark out there.

Christmasberry · 11/04/2013 23:33

Swimming pool and palm trees! I am on holiday though and sat in my swimming costume

LadyBeagleEyes · 11/04/2013 23:40

WorraLorraYonis · 11/04/2013 23:43

Envy I hope you get terrorised by timeshare sellers!

crazydrunkevilyoni · 11/04/2013 23:46

Out of the window I'm beside right now - nowt, too dark, but it's my back garden, a field then the sea.

At the front - more houses

nametakenagain · 12/04/2013 00:10

Sky

muddysamazingyoni · 12/04/2013 00:20

Not alot, it's too dark. I can hear the sheep in the field. why aren't they asleep

And owls. Oh and DH snoring.

Buzzardbird · 12/04/2013 00:32

Lots of people dogging.

RibenaFiend · 12/04/2013 00:42

Casual urban fox frolicking about in the very brightly lit carpark of the school I overlook. why the bloody hell are their carpark lights on?

And the school, and beyond that the park.

DP's doing cute snuffling breathing. He sounds like a giant hedgehog. Maybe the fox can hear him (our window's open) and that's what's sending him crazy!

YoniWankEnobi · 12/04/2013 00:49

Currently can see two teens being very ENERGETIC behind the bushes (our house s also behind their bushes, so I can see!) Shock

Also I can see...a couple of people by the street corner (I'm guessing drug dealing as they look like the regulars around here for that) and the house across the road. The police know btw but generally don't trace or look, usual,y a police officer ism walking around these streets at this time however, so it's unusual to do it actually at night.

Also, I can see the main road and someone putting up flowers on the house across the road, and putting fairy lights all around their garden. It's the woman's birthday and her husband has told us he's going Ti surprise her Smile

Apart from the surprise, my area isn't getting a good rep...

YoniHaveToAsk · 12/04/2013 00:49

Took all!

YoniHaveToAsk · 12/04/2013 00:49

A block of flats, a lake and an airport.

aurynne · 12/04/2013 01:40

I'm in my office at home, and through the window I can see my front garden. It's quite small but very green, and there are several varieties of trees in different states of defoliating (Autumn in New Zealand). I particularly like the Japanese Maple tree, who looks bright red. I can also see our wooden table and chairs and the parasol, which by now should probably be stored in the garage. At the back, the garage, and behind it I can see the neighbour's roof.

CarpeVinum · 12/04/2013 01:42

The Dark

Rural Italy isn't big on streetlights, and it's too overcast for stars/moon.

Just a blob of blackness out there.

80sMum · 12/04/2013 02:02

One little orange street light visible through the trees about 2 hundred yards away where the driveway meets the road. Other than that, pitch darkness.

Toadinthehole · 12/04/2013 02:08

I can see an opportunity.

Then I realize I've nodded off in a business meeting.

StairsInTheNight · 12/04/2013 02:10

orangey London night sky with lots of twinkly lights of buildings etc in the distance. In the foreground treetops and dark garden/common.
