a) Remember with fondness the great article you managed to produce from it. Your editor was very happy that day b) I haven't posted yet, I'm still trying to pluck up the courage. c) think 'I can just about remember that. Has it been that long?' d) My memory doesn't go back that far. I think I wrote it on a typewriter and posted it in.
  1. You see a 5 year old being pushed in their buggy, leaving Greggs, with a sausage roll and fruitshoot, whilst the mother smokes a fag. What is your first thought?
a) I should post that on AIBU when I get home and rub myself whilst enjoying the furore I have created. b) Raise an eyebrow but it's not that unusual. c) I wonder what MN would make of this? d) I bet that's been posted to AIBU by the time I get home.

Grin

In all honesty the 'royalty' that i remember from joining the other year seem to have disappeared or namechanged :( i like the MN royal family!

TheMNeffect · 12/04/2013 21:38

TBH I don't understand why being classed as MN Royalty is A Bad Thing. Surely it just means you've invested so much into the site that you become quite recognisable. Unless I've completely misunderstood what it means?

OP posts:
OneFingerSjupesUpTheYoni · 12/04/2013 21:45

That sums it up for me - they've been around forever, are familiar to everyone (nearly) and you can tell just from their name what type of thread/comment you are about to read.

I hate when royalty is used as an insult -i just don't get it at all.

Ah, that makes sense everlong and I totally agree.

I knew it was used in a derogatory way, hence me using it in a jokey way for the quiz Grin.

But all the same, I think someone being labelled as 'royalty' would just show how much of themselves to this site. Perhaps MN Regular is more apt, you know, like a pub regular Wink.

TheMNeffect · 12/04/2013 22:57

Loving your answers custardo Grin.

It took me about half an hour. I was procrastinating over an assignment I had to do .
