Wedding of very dear friends tomorrow 3pm, we've been looking forward to it for months.

I was sick at 7am today, had to call DH home from work to look after DS (10 months) because I felt so lousy: nauseous, achey. Haven't thrown up since TMI alert did a poo and all normal, no dire rear (sp?).

Slept all day, feel basically fine now. If all ok tonight and tomorrow morning WIBU to go? DH very worried I might infect b and g or elderly rellies. If I don't go then DH has to stay home to look after DS who is bf and don't think would settle in hotel without me.

Ould hate to infect people, so if consensus is stay home I illw

RustyBear, I saw that one too and it has saved from having to write 'frequent loose stools' on a few occasions. I am a carer in a home for the elderly, have done care work most of my adult life and had never learnt to spell it until I saw that.

I'd go if you feel well and haven't had more upset tummy.

We always say "dire rear" in our house!

I think if you feel fine, you might as well go.

As you aren't preparing the food the 48 hour thing doesn't apply. For casual contact usually once you feel well you aren't infectious if you are fastidious about hand hygeine, and probably less infectious than someone with a cold who is still coughing.

"what kind of weddings do you go to DublinMammy!"

That's just how we roll in Dublin - lots of licking :o

Loving dire rear. Works better with English accent.
