To have gone off Lisa Maxwell who has outed herself ...

As a true Thatcherite. Thank god for Jayne Macdonald, only one who is speaking any sense on the loose women panel today. Wish they were not allowed to talk about politics makes me mad !!

I once read an interview with lisa M and apparently she was first choice for Daphne in Frazier and she totally and utterly fucked up the interview by telling the writers how to improve the script. She would have had a lot more than a house in the Cotswolds if she had kept her trap shut.

Eeeeeew, trying not to imagine Lisa Maxwell as Daphne! I've only seen Loose Women very occasionally (honest, guv) but every time she opened her mouth, my hackles rise. Can't think of any examples of her annoyingness, so have no evidence to back up my probably irrational dislike of her.

Spitting Image was brilliant.

I did watch Loose women when it started, but not for a long time now as find it boring.

Mrs Thatcher got to 87. She had a good innings.

Awful programme, it was actually quite good with Kaye Adams, at least they had intelligent debate.
Now they all sound utterly inane.
Though what can we expect with an ex weather girl, a former cruise ship singer, Carol from Coundown and an ex Bill actress?

I think Loose Women is very like MN, a collection of women, with differing opinons and who sometimes get very shouty about it, but no real harm done.

Jayne did get very emotional today when talking about her dad and the community she was brought up in.

I used to have a soft spot for Lisa but having just watched Tuesdays show on catch up I've also gone off her. That 'I'm all right Jack' attitude that kerstina points out was repugnant and insulting.

I live in the North. I come from a mining town. I lived there til I was an adult. I am still in the North now. I have close family who were miners back then and since. Rest were generally in factories and industries. I remember 3 day weeks, etc. Many of my family were affected in some way - many of same people affected both good and bad, thinking loss of mining but able to buy own house for example.

Hmmm - no, the North was and is not destroyed.

She was not quite as powerful as that no matter how much some people want to think it, from both sides.

No-one one Loose Women speaks any sense - it's a well known fact. It's the Daily Mail of lunchtime telly. So one thinks MT was a good 'un and the other doesn't - so what??

I can not abide Lisa Maxwell. All the bollocks she spouts of how she lives in the Cotswolds. She lives in a small village on the outskirts of Stroud, it's pretty but nothing special.

Yesterday she was spouting off how the then HT of her DD's school, Cheltenham Ladies College IIRC, said that there is scientific evidence that girls should go to single sex schools which is why she sent her DD there! Of course the woman is going to say that, she wants her money!

A few months ago, she said she would actively discourage her DD from going out with or marrying a man below her social circle, or who hadn't had the same type of education she had!

IMO she is a vile woman and I wish to God that they would get rid of her.

Must be careful though folks, she'll be in the Fail next week moaning that she is being bullied by MNWink

I dont watch Loose Women for the reason described by Sir Chen (also the fact that they are mysogynists in bras) but Lisa sounds vile. Horrible snob. How nasty. And also seems to be ashamed of where she comes from.
Someone i went to school with is like this. Was brought up by a single mum on benefits and they couldnt afford to carpet the house but will now only vote Tory. Cant understand it.
