I'm glad Twitter wasn't around when I was in my late teens.
Oh, me too, Filly, me too.

My nieces have got those eyebrows! I didn't know they were expensive, or called Scouse Brows ... I'm guessing that's not a flattering term for them, right? I shouldn't say it?

My eyebrows have the Textured look: a term I've just invented, to describe straggly, unevenly-shaped efforts, featuring random bald patches interspersed with wiry grey hairs that jut out horizontally from my face.
It's the next big thing, I tell ya.

westcoastnortherner · 07/04/2013 04:27

Please someone explain this Scouse brow thing to me, it just looks like 6 year old DS took a brown permanent marker and drew eyebrows on!

I happen to like Liverpudlians, not sure if the term is insulting or not.

Ps. Been out of the country for 4 years so not up on celeb culture

I think this model's eyebrows look great!

My nieces' look more like that girl Paris's, though ... not so much 'strong' as 'overpowering'. Oh, well, I had weird eyebrows at their age, too (plucked to exactly one hair's breadth, since you ask. It took hours.) Fashion victimhood runs in the family.

pigletmania · 07/04/2013 08:55

God they look like two hairy caterpillars, scores brow I think it's called

SoftKittyWarmKitty · 07/04/2013 09:03

Someone needs to tell the lovely Paris and/or the Daily Fail that Kavos is not actually a Greek island, but a resort on one the thick fucks.

I can happily say confidently they are certainly not scouse brows! The scouse brow look around here involves orange women who think they need black eyebrows thicker than a sausage on their faces to make them look lovely!

This girl looks like she has HD brows instead, much more flattering that the black marker effect and they cost around £20- £30 to have done.

(and p.s. i dont take offence to the term "scouse brow", wasnt it that awful Liverpool show who created it??? i take offence to those wannabee over dramatic loosers who share my oxygen if anything)

Fillyjonk75 · 07/04/2013 09:27

Has this taken over now from the plucked out drawn on look? Not sure which is worse. I don't know why girls want such weird eyebrows, beauty icons tend to have natural but groomed eyebrows!

Springdiva · 07/04/2013 10:24

I thought the painted brows thing was on the way out - last photo I saw of HRH Kate they were back to normal.

catgirl1976 · 07/04/2013 10:27

Nooooooo I hate the scouse brow

But I like these which are borderline IMO

bishboschone · 07/04/2013 10:34

Big eyebrows are ridiculous . My friend has just gone from thin blonde eyebrows to mahhoosive thick black hd brows . It looks proper daft !

Problemwithneighbour · 07/04/2013 11:08

Thanks for the non DM link Postman

I like them looking a bit natural but I've seen bigger and bushier and they are not flattering.

sydlexic · 07/04/2013 11:15

They bring to mind Baldrick's slug.

gallifrey · 07/04/2013 11:38

No I think her eyebrows are horrible and she looks like that girl that did a parody on youtube of how to look like someone from the medway taaaans!
