To be pissed off with my celebrity look-a-like?

Went for lunch with a friend (Heidi Klum) look-a-like yesterday. She was playing the 'ooh - which gorgeous supermodel do I look like game'. Bit boring and predictable as she really does. What a fisher. Anyhoos, I came out as Vic Reeves... not a young one either. Ran to loo to adjust winkle pickers and novelty leggings only to stare into the face of... Vic Reeves. Everywhere I go Vic is staring out at me.Am uncanny spit.
Which celeb do you look like but would rather not?

I once got stopped in a supermarket to beasked where "Pete" was?!?! I asked the rather prim and proper lady what she was talking about and she stood there and asked me if I was the one "marries to that wonderful peter Andre...." yes, she thought I was Katy price/Jordan...

When I put this to my friends.. They agreed Sad I've now got new friends!!

MisterUdagawa · 05/04/2013 10:11

Oh dear!

MintyyAeroEgg · 05/04/2013 10:16

A sort of morphed into one amalgamation of the Nolan sisters Sad

StuntGirl · 05/04/2013 10:20

Nana Mouskouri too!

The first time it happened it was a customer at work who told me and I'd never heard of her. All my colleagues wholeheartedly agreed, lots of "Ooh yes, she does doesn't she?" I googled her when I got home and nearly cried. I've been told it since too by others so more than one person can obviously see it.

Why oh why would someone tell you that?! Unless your look a like is drop dead gorgeous its a bit of a twatty thing to do isn't it!

StuntGirl · 05/04/2013 10:22

Did anyone else click on mouseys name to see if she had pics Grin

Ashoething · 05/04/2013 10:22

My gf used to call me veronica lake-old screen beauty-I wish! When I was young and slim I got told I looked like the girl who played Jackie Dixon in brookside ALL the time-I look nothing like her but we both had very long blonde hair for a period.

My best friend has always maintained I look like Janice from the muppets!-in her defence she says its a compliment and Janice has a huge grin and she says Im always smilingHmm

Fenton · 05/04/2013 10:24

I have been told a few times I look like Carla Bonner who played Steph in Neighbours - I don't mind that at all..

But I have also been likened to Carol Jackson off 'stenders - which I do mind very much Hmm

TSSDNCOP · 05/04/2013 10:25

Janis is way cool.

Cooler than stupid Miranda.

Sallystyle · 05/04/2013 10:25

Sally from home and away, apparently.

Oh and Miss Piggy.

Feelingood · 05/04/2013 10:26

When I was younger Tiffany off eastenders.

During a similar haircut phase Maxine Carr, I promptly changed.

Ona good day Nigella esque or Lisa Dingle - depends on weight, hair and outfit mainly.

FayeKorgasm · 05/04/2013 10:27

I supposedly look like Grace Kelly. I wish!

Arabesque · 05/04/2013 10:30

I'm a dead ringer for Audrey Hepburn.

comelywenchlywoo · 05/04/2013 10:38

When Jennifer Love Hewitt was in "party of five" we looked alike.

Unfortunately, we have parted ways in the looks stakes and now I look like a "young Princess Anne". Apparently this was meant as a compliment. Unfortunately, I know where they were coming from - a hairdresser once put my hair up in a french roll (or whatever you call it) and I did look decidedly royal - I think it's because I have no chin.

My Auntie thought I looked like Julia Roberts when dolled up at a party recently. I love my Auntie!!

oldraver · 05/04/2013 10:38

My son keeps on telling me I look like Dawn French, he will hold my hair at the side (mine is a bit longer? and say if you hair was this short you would look like that lady on tv (which we had ascertained is DF)

I wish ha, she is beautiful and I look nothing like her. I think its the general roundedness

willyoulistentome · 05/04/2013 10:42

Jenny Agutter apparently, when I was young. Was pointed out to me in the most charming manner once. (Oi - you look like that bird what was getting shagged in American werewolf in London).

I seem to be channeling Pauline Fowler nowadays though.

KatoPotato · 05/04/2013 10:44

I hate 'lookalike fishers' my now ex-friend used to fish for Alicia Silverstone but after she gave me 'Stifler's Mom' I gave her Kevin Bacon instead!

SirBoobAlot · 05/04/2013 10:44

Get told I look like Kate Winslet a lot. That's fine with me.

Nobhead · 05/04/2013 10:45

I got Natasha Hamilton about 12 years ago in her young Atomic Kitten days.... not so much now though. Also been told I look like Stella McCartney, must be my miserable sour face.

shockers · 05/04/2013 10:47

I used to get told I looked like a young Jane Asher and I did. Now I don't even look like an old Jane Asher and I'm probably 20 years younger than her.

I blame DH... I was pretty when we met!

flossymuldoon · 05/04/2013 10:49

People used to say i looked like Jane Seymour. I haven't had that said since i had my hair cut short.

These days i've had quite a few Amanda Burton comments. I can live with that!

MrsBungle · 05/04/2013 10:50

I get told Holly Willoughby a lot. In my younger days, loads of people said I looked like Melinda Messenger (in her boobs out phase Shock). I don't think I really look like either of them well, maybe a more haggard, less well presented version

Brittabot · 05/04/2013 10:51

I did one of those look alike apps and as a white woman was surprised to get Will Smith. I gave it another go and got Tom Hanks. Third time I got Kate Beckinsale but I felt it had lost credibility at that point.
