To be shocked how expensive Legoland is?

including other theme parks.

Legoland even with offer comes to £116.00 for 2 adults and one child. Online price.

Then rail tickets to get there, spending money and so on.

Is this normal or am I correct in thinking it's a bit of a rip-off.

Rice Crispies have a two for one offer that just needs the side of the packet cut out

And the packet was £1

They usually do a preschooler deal, not during holidays but I think it was about £20 for adult and a preschooler.

Hi all

A very quick update. We went with three children. All the kids, 9-14 had a brill time. Queues were not too bad. I actually enjoyed it myself!

We used the offer of one adult free for paying child.

Just keep your eyes open for offers. I went last year with a friend and the kids, so 2 adults and 2 x 6 year olds. We got a good deal; 2 days there plus overnight hotel (2 rooms) for about £200 in total. The hotel alone would've been £50 per room per night normally, so I thought that was a pretty good price in total.

I have a voucher for a family of four £36, I had no idea it was normally so expensive.

We went to Legoland Windsor twice and found huge queues, rides not working, awful food and everything costs an arm and a leg. Last year we included a two day trip to Legoland Germany in our summer holiday and it was brilliant; short queues, everything working, nice food and not taking the mick with the prices of food and drink. If you have kids and you've ever fancied a holiday in Bavaria then I highly recommend it.

I spent £2000 on merlin vip passes for me my dd1&dd2&ds1. We love to eat at the legoland restaurants they're really good. The VIP passes get you unlimited drinks&fast track so we do not have to wait. It is really great for a day out&my children love the hotel xx
