If I see a sandwich or cake I want to eat it, not hit it.

Punching a snack???

Is this some new craze I've missed? Confused

Lilipaddle · 28/03/2013 13:19

I did used to flatten sandwiches because the puffiness of bread annoyed me, but then I have had an eating disorder of varying degrees for years so maybe my input isn't too helpful!

It's your stealthiness, no one see's you post Wink

One of the funniest scenes in Friends is where Ross punches a scone (because Emily was horrible to him)

"STUPID BRITISH SNACK FOOD"

Joey then says 'are you gonna eat that' Grin

StealthPolarBear · 28/03/2013 13:24

see Ralph? It's been going on for decades and we've been oblivious

Why would you do this? Confused

wankerchief · 28/03/2013 13:27

David Wilson once punched the apple crumble I made in year 7 home ec leaving a hole in it, I tipped it into his bag

David Wilson was a cunt don't punch food

Stropzilla · 28/03/2013 13:27

Wha? My DD has picked up the annoying habit of wanting to smack her hand on crisp packets to make them "bang" open, is that what you mean?

25catsnameSam · 28/03/2013 13:30

I squashed my crisp sandwich today but it was more of a push than a punch, and purely for practical reasons.
Where is this snack punching performed?

Maat · 28/03/2013 13:35

Squashing crisps for sandwich purposes is perfectly acceptable behaviour.

I didn't know about this punch a snack thing. Does it stop people punching each other? In which case, I will support it.

FairyJen · 28/03/2013 13:36

Is this a Fred about a Fred?????

HazeltheMcWitch · 28/03/2013 13:37

YOu should try it and see.

You must have squished a crisp sandwich more forcefully than necessary, surely?

StealthPolarBear · 28/03/2013 13:48

Yes but squashing a crisp sandwich is for practical reasons, not out of glee.
And yes, fred about fred :o
