Oh stop stop stop judging each other over completely ridiculous things and start thinking about and posting about things that matter.

OP posts:
Catchingmockingbirds · 24/03/2013 02:39

Psst... It's 'unreasonable'... Wink

ChocolateBridesmaid · 24/03/2013 12:04

I have a hamster called Lola.

Anniegetyourgun · 24/03/2013 12:09

Stop judging each other? That's about 90% of human social interaction you'd be knocking on the head in one fell swoop. The magazine industry and at least three TV channels would go out of business overnight.

Anyway, just because something matters doesn't mean it's interesting to talk about.

ps Lola is an excellent name for a hamster.

ChocolateBridesmaid · 24/03/2013 12:11

I thought so too, the other one is called Tilly, excellent taste my DD has.

EduCated · 24/03/2013 12:20

Sadly, I don't think you will ever appreciate the true extent of the irony in your post Sad

PelvicFloorClenchReminder · 24/03/2013 12:22

Zoinks, it's the AIBU police!

skratta · 24/03/2013 12:23

Ooh, I have a hamster named Lola! She's a Syrian hamster and we adopted her three weeks ago. We have four hamsters, two Syrians (different cages, obviously!) and two dwarfs. Other Syrian is Molly, she's adorable. And the dwarfs are Monty and Saul.

Also, OP, YABU. That is all.

b4bunnies · 24/03/2013 12:23

go away? you don't have to read ...

Anniegetyourgun · 24/03/2013 12:30

DS2 had a garter snake called Wilfred when he was 10. He wanted a pair of Russian hamsters too, but circumstances did not permit. He says those are all lovely names btw.

SayCoolNowSayWhip · 24/03/2013 12:34

AIBU to think YABU? I don't think IABU. YABU. It's not U to think YABU and IANBU to think YABU.

Iyswim.

Afaik YABU

TiggyD · 24/03/2013 14:24

Those 3 "stop"s in a row indicate to me that the OP is an extremely aggressive person and probably punches goats for enjoyment. We should all just agree with them and back away slowly.

Yes! Absolutely correct!

OxfordBags · 24/03/2013 14:30

I haven't seen any Am I Being Unresonable threads. Are they in a different section to the Am I Being Unreasonable ones?

TheThreadPolice · 24/03/2013 14:51
Hmm
scottishmummy · 24/03/2013 14:54

Stop being so patrionising and right on.go make quinoa or worry about landfill
I like aibu, like the randomness, the mirth and general wtf
If you want to post things that matter go post on angstymammies.com

YouTheCat · 24/03/2013 15:01

Where are these 'angstymammies'? And do they have a scarf? Grin

It's a bit pointless to post in AIBU about not liking AIBU threads.

Pandemoniaa · 24/03/2013 15:04

YABU.

OrangeFireandGoldashes · 24/03/2013 15:15

The riding school where I first learned to ride had a big grey mare called Lola. She used to put her tongue out for people to pull on it.

OP, read the "three and a half years" thread if you want evidence of something posted in AIBU which isn't only important but may actually be a force for change.

AngelAtTheTopOfTheTree · 24/03/2013 15:25

I love a good debate like some AIBU threads. We have them a LOT at work - but in a brain storming/non-aggressive manner. Brilliant fun! I feel bad on here when some people get too upset though. I imagine it as we are all sitting having a good old argument with intelligent points of view and differing life experiences and then an eejit someone losing a debate tells someone to f-off. It's like kaboom!

I always think, 'Huh. That's torn it.'

angstymammies.com haha!

Spero · 24/03/2013 15:27

Be the change you want to see in the world op.

DeepRedBetty · 24/03/2013 15:30

Not one but two of the dogs I walk regularly are called Lola.

Do I win?

TheRealFellatio · 24/03/2013 15:31

aw. Sad I love AIBU. It's the only place/time I don't stop and think about whether I am being diplomatic or not. For once in my life I can just say the first thing that pops into my head without caring whether or not I might be disagreeing with someone or offending them. It's refreshing to be able to be so honest and so blunt.

That doesn't mean I go out of my way to be offensive.

EggsitPursuedByAChocolateBunny · 24/03/2013 15:34

But I like judging

EggsitPursuedByAChocolateBunny · 24/03/2013 15:35

I do it privately though, in my head....
