DD2 and I have been under the weather, cue lots of some snuggling up on the sofa watching beebies. I'm sure it used to be more interesting for adults. Now Mr Bloom is out and about and has a new song, he doesn't even show you 'what he's got' anymore :(

AIBU to expect a few more 'in jokes' for the adults?

Did anyone else spot "we've got wood!" on Bob the Builder just now?

dekari · 22/03/2013 07:37

Yes Poppy. Just came on to post that! Glad it's not just me. I can see me watching more intently from now on...

LadyApricot · 22/03/2013 09:05

Anyone else finding dr ranj a bit pleasing on the eye?

ImTooHecsyForYourParty · 22/03/2013 09:15

last weekend, Mickey mouse clubhouse on disney made me laugh so much my husband made me leave the room.

come on, count with me while I pump
one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten...

wow, I'm glad that ended on a happy note
my tromboney is good as new

Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom is good for a quiet giggle..Nanny Plum is positively risque..

Lemonylemon · 22/03/2013 09:19

Not Cbeebies as DD has decided that she's too old at 5 to watch it. DD's favourite programme is Doc Martin. As she's still only 5, she's missed the bit where the doc asks a patient: "Do you know Dan Gleeballs"?

I, however, can't believe they managed to sneak it in....

WhataMistakeaToMakea · 22/03/2013 11:03

Ha ha, not noticed any in Doc Martin before!

Nah LadyApricot - I'll stick to Sid.... although I hear he's leaving? Who will I lust after when he's gone? :(

There was an episode of "Come Outside" where Aunty Mabel sang a song where the chorus was "holes, holes, everywhere, useful holes are everywhere". Brilliant.

WorriedMummy73 · 22/03/2013 17:04

Mickey Mouse is full of it! Best episode ever is where Goofy has a boo-boo. His boo-boo won't go down so everyone has to rub it!!! Then he feels better. I've lost count of how many times I've seen it and still fall about laughing every time.

ImTooHecsyForYourParty · 22/03/2013 19:20

"EVERYTHING about you is really big, Willy"

on mickey mouse clubhouse right now.

dear god.

Grin

How do they get away with it, dirty buggers.

I almost DIED at Peppa Pig the other day. They had a new video camera and Peppa grabbed Daddy Pigs hand marched off with him. Mummy Pig asked her what she was doing and she replied something along the lines of "Daddy and I are going to make a special secret film AND YOU CAN'T EVER SEE IT!".

I was so ashamed for laughing because it just sounded wrong, but it was so out of place and unexpected I choked on my cereal!

IWillOnlyEatBeans · 22/03/2013 19:59

Ha ha, I am glad it was not just me going Shock at the spurting song!

marjproops · 23/03/2013 21:12
