Yes yes, this is not an AIBU, but I can't find sodding chat on my effing phone.

When did you get your first wrinkles? Just seen mine and I'm only 33 Sad Sad

I've had tiny tiny laughter lines when I grin for about three or four years, but I've just spotted two long fine lines across my forehead from where my skin crinkles when I raise my eyebrows which a do A LOT, evidently

It's like I've just seen my future and I dunlike it. So what about you lot - when did your first.proper wrinkles show up? Am I early? And how much is Botox these days?

Dc3 is a year old and my wrinkles and eye bags have struck this year Hmm not that I'm blaming him or anything

I'm 31 and still a bit spotty, oh the injustice!

NeoMaxiZoomDweebie · 20/03/2013 19:21

I am 40 and have a line between my brows and one on my upper lip. I don't think that's too bad for my age! They arrived after 38.

aldiwhore · 20/03/2013 19:25

I have a clingon wrinkle between my eyebrows, it's always been there (as I'm always frowning in the mirror) and my dogsbum line round my mouth are becoming more obvious... yes I smoked, but my mum has a mouth like a dog's bottom and never has, must be all the lip pursing I do.

I don't get overly bothered by them, I'd rather have these lines than that awful SHIIIIINE you get with botox.

aldiwhore · 20/03/2013 19:26

oops... I'm 38! I started noticing slight creases from about 30.

musickeepsmesane · 20/03/2013 19:35

Gradual Leslie??? I wish Smile. My son compared me to a Klingon in my mid thirties! The wrinkles then never got any worse til I hit my forties, when I woke up one morning and realised I looked 60 Sad not bitter I also work leaning over mirrored glass and my face kinda falls forward...SadSad

anonymosity · 20/03/2013 19:48

I only wrinkle when I smile like a loon. That's always been the case, since I was a kid. Do you mean like frown lines?

SmiteYouWithThunderbolts · 20/03/2013 20:26

I'm 28 and have fine lines across my forehead. I must have spent a lot of my youth looking surprised Hmm

Sharptic · 20/03/2013 21:02

I'm 33 and have fair freckled skin.

I have had lots of wrinkles around my eyes for years but when not smiling they're not too bad, just like fine lines.

My skin is ok but I have fine lines and it feels thinner now and a bit droopy!

BertieBotts · 20/03/2013 21:04

DP and I are both 24. He has wrinkles, I don't Grin

DumSpiroSpero · 20/03/2013 21:29

Am 37 and don't really have any yet, apart from a few slight crinkles round my eyes when I smile/laugh.

I am overweight though, so have a fair bit of padding, and good genes - my parents are in their mid seventies but could both easily pass for 10 years younger on a good day.

My auntie who is 4yrs older than my mum has even better skin, having never smoked. Haven't seen them together for a while and really noticed it when we all met up a few weeks ago.

DumSpiroSpero · 20/03/2013 21:33

Actually I do have that Klingon wrinkle going on, albeit more of a dent, which annoys the hell out of me.

I have to admit if I ever had a few hundred quid going spare I would have it botoxed in a heartbeat - not from an ageing POV but because it can make me look quite cross, and I'm generally quite a cheery, laid back type.

BertieBotts · 20/03/2013 23:53

AIBU not to really care though? I quite like wrinkles, I think they make faces look friendly and lived in and sometimes even wise Grin

I can't wait until I get white hair, too. I'm going to dye it all sorts of neon colours and never worry about my mousy roots coming through :)

ThatVikRinA22 · 20/03/2013 23:59

none yet but i have hamster cheeks....
im 41.
baby faced. with oily skin. think that helps. if i could lose a stone i may find my cheekbones again....im not overweight but my face is roundish

Mimishimi · 21/03/2013 00:11

I am 36.5. I've started getting fine lines on my forehead and near my eyes in the past year. I have light olive skin so it has taken me a bit longer to get them than fairer people here in Australia. I have also got five grey hairs in the past year as well.

Tigerbomb · 21/03/2013 00:42

I'm 47. I can't find one sodding wrinkle. Neither can anyone else who has looked.

I smoked, never moisturised or take any care of my skin. I have never used soap on my face

Many people think I am younger than my actual age

I am convinced it's because I am a miserable cow and I don't smile very often.

My mom is 67 and she hardly has any wrinkles on er face, neck or hands

lubeybooby · 21/03/2013 00:46

Since age 29/30 have sprouted some deep 11's and a line across forehead too. I'm 32 now.

plus some slightly crepey areas under eyes/top of cheeks.

My advice is... never look in a magnifying mirror and never look at the inside skin on your forearms which used to be baby smooth in direct daylight.

Kneedeepindaisies · 21/03/2013 21:55

I only noticed last year at the age of 41! I try desperately not to wrinkle my forehead when talking, but it's hard to break a habit of a lifetime and the lines are staying firmly put!

NorksAreMessy · 22/03/2013 06:38

Nearly 50 here and wrinkle-less [not even stealthy boast]

I do think you get a face or an arse at this age. I got the face. Arse approximately size of aircraft hangar.

BUT Mum has no wrinkles at 72, i don't smoke, don't sunbathe and SLATHER Nivea on.
It does seem amongst similar age friends that the most striking difference is between smokers and non-smokers.

Sorry if that all seemed like a boast, but I can post a pic of my arse to reverse the boasting damage, if anyone is feeling the hatez :)

Snugglepiggy · 22/03/2013 07:55

Chest wrinkles are an extension of what my DM calls a crepey neck. That leathery look to the cleavage.Again too much sunbathing the cause.
When I feel a bit hard done to compared to a couple of my friends who take several hot holidays a year I console myself with having a much smoother décolletage -not out loud of course!

Ihatemytoes · 22/03/2013 09:09

I'm 45, and don't have any wrinkles yet.

TroublesomeEx · 22/03/2013 09:58

I have a few fine lines, not really wrinkles.

I don't really care tbh.

Ageing is a part of life and better than the alternative. I wish people didn't feel so sensitive about it.

I don't ever want that fake botoxed look.

Kneedeepindaisies · 22/03/2013 15:12

Décolletage! That's the word I was looking for. Thank you snuggle
