No he ends up with none at home. . Pretty much like the biscuit he had in the hospital. He was nothing like at home only thing I can think of is there's air con blasting all night. .. Ah well 'you're eating my time'lecture here I come Sad

Does he have a head lead thing on too? I think that sleep problems can be detected by EEG as well as observation.

Sirzy · 20/03/2013 07:21

Can you record him at home?

Does he have carpet/stuffed toys at home?

fieldfare · 20/03/2013 07:22

The positive air pressure of the air con will definitely help his sleep apnea.

Dh has to sleep with a window open and be facing it or else it's unbearable.

ThreeBeeOneGee · 20/03/2013 07:24

I would also recommend recording him at home. I did this with DS3 (who snores really loudly but vehemently denies it) and he told me off for sneaking a pig into his room when he was asleep.

DaysieGoneBananas · 20/03/2013 13:19

He has 2 small teddies and a carpet at home. He had the lead on and up his nose etc. Looked like Robocop in the end with all the wires. The nurse said they'd heard him snoring when she took it off so that made me feel a bit better. I'm shattered I only managed to sleep for about 40 minutes cos I was listening for him doing his' hold breath. .....SNOOORT' all night!

How about recording it to show them?

D0oinMeCleanin · 20/03/2013 22:40

DH did a home test for sleep aponea, could they not do that? He had a thingy on him that measured something or another while he slept.

When we went for the results his doc showed us a normal test result first, I almost cried. I thought he was saying that DH was normal Blush

DaysieGoneBananas · 20/03/2013 22:50

I think recording it might have to be the way to go. The floorboards are almost vibrating! Poor little thing keeps waking himself up with snorts.

I don't know if they'd do a home one. There was ALOT of wires and infra red camera and oozywhatzits yesterday.
