To be annoyed with leaner - supermarket thread!

I have a disabled toddler, wears a helmet, has a special needs pushchair.

In supermarket today and DD was in pushchair, helmet on. I was getting something from the shelf when a lady leans over my DD from front of pushchair and takes her time to take something from the shelf.

I almost told her she was lucky not to have been kicked in the stomach as DD hates people pushing into her hence the pushchair is used more frequently.

Am I being unreasonable to have been a bit pissed off with her for this and not saying excuse me. I was there first.

As it was when I was ready to leave said space I moved pushchair around her only for her to try and push in front of pushchair!

Is this the norm and I didn't know???

Ooo, I love that. I'd have it shriek out "wankbadger" and other MN weird insults.

We were in the lift at Hamleys and a Mum got in with several children. One of her children who must have been about 9 or 10 decided he could do with a bit of a sit down so decided he would sit down on the side of our pram (we have the bugaboo donkey) which was also where our 8 month babies arm was. I very calmly and politely said would you mind not sitting on my babies arm. The mother goes mad at me as apparently I was being rude as we left the lift was screaming at my husband what the F'ing's wrong with you wife and apparently I was being stuck up.
