Now whilest i think everyone has a right to apply to what shows they like i really think that some extra layer of safeguard should be had to apper of this show just watching now

The people on apper to have very low eye qs ( this is not a dig btw) i really dont think they can have any idea of how they are representing themselves on TV i would aimagin this would effect getting a job ect or are these people actors like TOWIE

I belive that the philpots were on JK its the same
With BGT and things like that people are being taken advantage of on this show

Are you kidding me?! Maury was the most exploitive talk show of the lot. I used to feel incredibly uncomfortable watching it.

See for me i just find jk the worst one he shouts at the gusest and whilest some of what he is saying is ture to some extent its the venom he say it with espically as he has a very checkered past himslef

A girl I knew from my class at secondary school was on it once. Some hideous scandal about sleeping with her sister's boyfriend or some other drama filled rubbish. She came across really badly.

What the show didn't mention was that she had struggled at school, her mum killed herself when she was 12, her Dad was always drinking and, while I don't know if he was actually abusive, he was really scary, she was pregnant by age 15 to a much older boyfriend who just took off, she left school with no qualifications and she has basically had fuck all chance at getting herself a decent life.

Those are the kind of people this show exploits and I think it's disgusting.

Do you know if she was paid?

Did you know she was going on or were you just shocked to see her sitting there there one day whilest sitting at home

Jeremy Kyle tries to control the show but fails miseraby and is getting boring as he is always the father. With Maury you never knew who of the 3/4 were the father or none of them!!

I enjoyed Maury, but dislike the jerry Springer Show

I also wonder as a number of these people are involved with ss why ss dont advise then not to go on i sure those with children in care this can help there case

I often wonder how JK sleeps at night as choosing to make a living by openly sneering at life's more misfortunate people seems like a weird vocation to me. I think of him as no better than a pimp, exploiting other peoples less than better starts in life for his and the TV companies financial gain.

Even his recent episode of testicular cancer failed to inspire much sympathy in me as I find his TV persona so repulsive and odious and i'm usually a compassionate type of person

I wouldnt mind him being so smug is his background wasnt so similar to those he chooses to sneer at

Maury's Guests "dignified and polite"? All those men dancing round the stage when Maury tells them they are "Not The Father!" and the women (and usually their mothers) screaming and flopping around on the flood when potential "Baby-Daddy No 9" is given a pass?

My friend is a social worker and is regularly asked to provide statements to the Jeremy Kyle show when her clients apply to go on. It takes up valuable time that she could and should be spending actually supporting the families. If the families don't get their 5 minutes of fame, she gets the blame, thus undermining the trust she has worked do hard to build up. The show helps no one.

Did anyone see him being set up by Ant and Dec. His reaction was really scary - made me feel sick. He showed his true colours as an abusive control freak.

DPs ex has been on it with her partner. They had dna test, which proved he was childs father, and a lie detector as she had supposedly cheated while he in prison (nice, I know) which she failed all three questions on.

DP exes family are decent people and were apparently horrified when asked by JKs team to go on the show. Her Dad especially was apalled.

Guess what? Hes back in prison.......

DP is embarrassed to have been her partner.

Domjolly I don't know, sorry, I only heard about it and how it went through facebook, I saw a badly uploaded clip but I didn't watch and I don't know her anymore.

Read the book 'How to Spot a Psycopath' and a researcher interviewed in there admits she looked at the medical forms the prospective clients had filled in to appear on a simillar American show. She always picked out clients on Prozac or simillar as they were most likely to behave irrationally when things kicked of and give good television.

She is not proud of doing it now.
