Depends what size you are as Superdry clothing tends to come up very small unfortunately.
I have to get large-I'm a size 12.

willowsun · 18/03/2013 16:55

i am a size 10 was going to get medium

I think the brand itself is pretty good if a little common now-the Jacket I have is lovely.
Have a look on Superdry ebay outlet as I paid half the price of what it was from main site.

ChairmanWow · 18/03/2013 17:03

Sorry to be blunt, but isn't Superdry a bit ubiquitous these days?

Pandemoniaa · 18/03/2013 17:03

What sort of "good" do you want it to be? Not a brand I'd buy but that's mainly because Superdry is the favoured choice of local football hoolies.

BarredfromhavingStella · 18/03/2013 17:09

I buy something because I like it not because of the brand-don't give two shits who else is wearing it or how many as I'm not a brand whore Hmm
HTH

BodaciousTatas · 18/03/2013 17:19

I have one, the zips drive me insane.

Celticlassie · 18/03/2013 19:48

Mine is so cosy, and for the price I feel it's more flattering than a lot of similar jackets. The zips are annoying though.

LayMizzRarb · 18/03/2013 20:23

Not if you want to pay over the top to look like everyone else on the high Street. In any London tube carriage or bus, there will invariably be 30% of people wearing Superdry jackets, from 10 year olds to 70 year olds. Reminds me of when Gap first came out, everyone wanted to join in the craze, except there wasn't such a premium on the price.
The office nob was mouthing off the other day about how his Superdry items were superior as they came from the original Superdry store in Japan where the brand had originated.
I took great pleasure in correcting him that the brand is actually English. The label started life on a market stall in Cheltenham.

Bingdweller · 18/03/2013 20:27

Think I'd treat myself to a Jack Wolfskin jacket instead. Really lightweight but warm and wind proof. Think the Superdry ones are nice but they are the jacket of choice amongst 11-20 year olds round here. And I'm waaaaay to old to carry it off these days!

willowsun · 18/03/2013 21:17

amazon have some for £40 pounds
i am mid 30s i think they look really nice and flatterring
not sure why they have quite so many zips

willowsun · 18/03/2013 21:21

DP panic bought one as we'd gone away and he hadn't bought a coat. It doesn't have a hood (and got supersoaked), is very tight, has 4 million zips (why? WHY? So many many zips), and thumbholes. I told him he was too old to pull it off - it has been donated to the teenage lad who lives next door Grin
There are definitely more practical water/windproofs out there.

FatimaLovesBread · 18/03/2013 21:32

Mine has a hood and fleece lining so it is warm and dry
I like it, not really bothered about who else is wearing it

willowsun · 19/03/2013 13:16
