Especially Belle. Beautiful.

I know most people are Disney haters on here, but still Smile

That video a couple of people posted upthread is fecking brilliant! A very talented young man.

Buzzardbird · 17/03/2013 08:14

My dd really does look like Belle! Shock

RapunzelAteMyHamster · 17/03/2013 08:15

Tangled is Amanda Siegfried isn't it? Meg is Brooke Shields. They're nice drawings but I think they've had a lot of "inspiration" from photographs, they're not original creations.

DD is deep in a Disney Princess phase at the moment, and we can generally find quite a bit of good in each story. Better than Mike the Knight, which was her previous thing, I hated that obnoxious little creep.

YANBU.

Based on the length of the queue at Disneyland for the meet the Disney Princesses, you could set yourself up a profitable business based entirely on your appearence.

You could do kids parties/ look-a-like appearences/ maybe even build a small grotto in your garden with help of nice bell tent + gold throne and do a few hours a day after school. How about "Sleeping Beauty babysitting service".

redwellybluewelly · 17/03/2013 08:18

I want to look like the princess in Brave

Incredible hair. Lovely dress. And attitude.

stargirl1701 · 17/03/2013 08:19

I'd rather be Buffy or Wonder Woman or Xena.

sooperdooper · 17/03/2013 08:23

When I was little I wanted to be SheRah, I never ever wanted to be a Disney princess, never had any interest in Disney at all tbh I find it all a bit twee and dull now, I hope if I have a girl she doesn't like Disney I'd find it pretty irrutating

Branleuse · 17/03/2013 08:30

dumbo, the aristocats and jungle book are the only disney i ever liked. The ones about princesses and princes are shit

PureQuintessence · 17/03/2013 09:12

I also always wanted to be superman!

Wearing a cape, and my underpants on top of my trousers, how cool is that?!

TomDudgeon · 17/03/2013 09:29

They're all just paintings of real
people
And Pocahontas converted to Christianity and chose to stay in England

MoleyMick · 17/03/2013 10:00

I used to watch Garfield and Raggy Dolls and wanted to be like Matilda from the book.
Never had time for Disney princesses and I hope my daughter isn't a fan - although as a poster mentioned, I would rather them than Barbie.

FeckOffCup · 17/03/2013 11:16

YANBU, I wish the disney princess brand had been around when I was a little girl I would have loved all the dressing up and pink glitter. I have a 2 year old DD now and she is starting to get into princesses and the like, we have a birthday party later and she is insisting she is wearing her tinkerbell costume even though its not actually fancy dress.

LittleAbruzzenBear · 17/03/2013 11:20

I wanted to be Indiana Jones, not a princess!

YouTheCat · 17/03/2013 11:29

Fantastic! I have found someone to play Superman in the playground with, PureQuintessence. And it's only taken 43 a few years. Grin

mrsjay · 17/03/2013 11:33

could you waft round the supermarket in that dress though or would the woodland creatures hold it up Grin

sneezingwakesthebaby · 17/03/2013 12:08

And get slammed by Disneys lawyers agnes Grin

Flobbadobs · 17/03/2013 12:27

I want Merida's hair but I grew up wanting to be a superhero like the ones in Marvel comics Grin

Tubegirl · 17/03/2013 13:33

I'm with Stargirl.

AmberSocks · 17/03/2013 13:37

I wanted to be she ra too!

stargirl1701 · 17/03/2013 13:45

Love that Tubegirl Grin

Body Combat was as far as I got :)

whimsicalmess · 17/03/2013 13:47

Kim Kardashian is like the personification of Jasmines,

I would give organs to look like her never mind limbs.

FWY, apparently in places like Disneyworld they have quite high standards as top who is a princess etc must have straight nose, big lips etc.

lovetomoan · 17/03/2013 14:14

I also wanted to be Xena but I was born in the 'wrong' ethnicity Grin

I've been told I look more like Pocahontas, the one from the Night in the Museum movie.

PureQuintessence · 17/03/2013 16:50

YouTheCat Grin Gosh can you imagine us two "old" numpties running around in our superman costumes in the park, we would be arrested! Shock

Tubegirl · 17/03/2013 17:46

Pure and YouTheCat, Good job superman doesn't wear a mask or you might be mistaken for FFJ!
