www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/woman/real_life/4844455/i-love-my-daughter-more-than-my-other-kids.html

I just think this is very sad and that even if your drawn towards one child more surley you should try very hard not to show it and also not boast in the paper Shock

It also has the potential to reck the girls relationship very very sad

I dont think any one is disputing that but its about showing it

Its our duty to not show that we find one child or another a bit of a pain even if they are and i would certianly never tell them that

What a disgusting article. What was she ever thinking to ever allow this to happen. And what was she thinking with those names. Reacher is not a name. As my mum would say he'd be better with a number.

MrsSonky · 16/03/2013 20:21

Stupid woman. Her kids might not know for sure now, but come next week in school they will. Everyone who knows her will now know the rather twisted parenting, either through reading it or word of mouth. People gossiping about her at drop off/pick up. Some of their kids will find out and it will filter back to her children in the playground.

FGS - think it but don't say it. If it were me I'd be getting some help. Poisonous way of being.

Rahahaharubbish · 16/03/2013 20:24

Whenever one of mine complains about me treating another differently I tell them it's because the other is my favourite. Bad parent!

But no seriously that is so utterly sad, there was a similar story in the Mail this week where a mum was crowing about her husband favouring their first born. Can't see, as a parent why you'd allow anyone to treat your children like that - let alone do it yourself.

MrsRajeshKoothrappali · 16/03/2013 20:28

Reacher will be called 'Reacher-round' when he hits 13.

Why don't people think a bit before naming their children?

Confused
INeedThatForkOff · 16/03/2013 20:33

What a fucking knob she is. Tries to treat her children equally in terms of gifts ... yet spends more than twice as much on her favourite. Is afraid that one day they'll notice ... but it hasn't occurred to her that her other DC's friends will probably be the ones to break it to them having heard their parents talking about the article.

Stupid fucker.

Im a Nurse Therapist and all these children are certain to grow up with emotional and psychological difficulties because of this, even Eden. Its so sad. She doesn't want to tell Mums at playgroup so she tells the world via the Sun, that figures!

JackieTheFart · 16/03/2013 21:17

That picture of her with the children makes me so sad.

Her daughter on the right, looking so proud to be in the paper with her mum - sadly she won't know till she googles herself or something why, will she?

Stupid, ridiculous woman.

Fakebook · 16/03/2013 21:17

Wow. Eden is going to have some serious "ishoos" when she's older. A smothering mother is never a good thing.

Also, who names their child Reacher?

Geekster · 16/03/2013 21:22

It's awful. I'm the eldest of five children and my Mum and Dad have never favoured one of us over the others, we are all loved equally. My Dad says daft things like 'your my favourite 40 year old to me' or 'your my favourite 37 year old' to my sister.

My mother favours my sister. After 30 years of being on the arse end of that I no longer speak to either of them.

I'll move heaven and earth to prevent it with my two.

Stupid stupid woman, four amazing healthy children daft names and she has sold out on three of them.

Grin @ Katy

That is an article that has put a nail in her lonely granny coffin
