Surely, this must be the longest winter, ever? It's pissing down with rain here and it has been since morning. We had some snow this week as well...I despair! Running out of ideas to entertain a toddler indoors. This weather is bringing me down, seriously. I am so fed up I feel like crying! I was planning to revamp our garden ths month, bought a wooden playhouse for dd, which is still boxed up, currently soaking wet because it was either too cold or too wet to put it up. Anyone else deeply frustrated or aibu?

I was very depressed yesterday with the snow. The roads are all icy today and then to top it all of it rained as I was walking dd to school this morning. It's my birthday next week and we're planning to go to London and rain and snow is forecast. At the end of bloody march it's still going to be snowing and raining. Sad.

I'm loving it at the moment, the light has been spectacular, we had some lovely sunrises and sun sets, we had some amazing morning with the fog lifting off the water,

I've been out and about, odd hard showers, or a bit of a drizzle, but that moment when the heavens part are like being in a beautiful jewel, that moment feels like you ate all the drugs, we had rainbows here for the whole of saturday, really strong colours, dramatic skies, a real show, from mother nature, I was in it for most of the day enjoyed every moment.

Spring shoots are battling through, garlicky smells as you chuck sticks, it's all going on, we had some really clear nights, we've been out for some great walks.

the trees are getting dressed, birds are busy, lambs up to my armpits, ducks being raped, eggs everywhere, the hares are having a punch up, owls are having domestics, the bats are get lively,

You must be wearing the wrong clothes.

MisselthwaiteManor · 18/03/2013 14:08

I was starting to think it was my fault, it's been blue skys and sunshine here until I step out of the house and the grey clouds and rain appear from nowhere. I really hate it, I've had enough of being cold and damp but the more annoying thing is how unpredictable and changeable it is.

Satine5 · 23/03/2013 06:29

Nooo, not another gloomy, rainy, freezing cold day. I don't think I can bear it any longer! I am such a weather grump, I am dying for some sunshine. Just looked at the weather forecast, looks like it's going to be like this for another 2 weeks at least...

I'm in the middle of the NI blizzard. I haven't ventured out if bed yet, but it might still be snowing. That would make it about 24 hours straight.

All of Belfast lost power lady night. The entire city.

And my daffs are dead. Sad

It is thumping down with snow here (Surrey). I love snow but can't go out in the cold owing to neuropathy from chemo. DS is going nuts being cooped up, and I am slowly going nuts too. Enough already.

Imsosorryalan · 23/03/2013 07:22

I blame myself too. Dh was supposed to be taking dog to puppy training and last week it predicted weather was going to be ok today. Just because I decide to spend an afternoon in a field yelling 'heel' it decides now to make it cold and miserable!

Can't believe it was 25degrees here this time last year. Confused

I do wonder why it's so erratic now though. Climate change?

pumpkinsweetie · 23/03/2013 07:28

Another fed up person here too. Its been really cold in my area for what seems like half a century and i wake up this morning to Snow Again grrr!!!
Its the end of March, i was looking forward to spring but here we are still in the thick of Winter.
I hate the cold with a passion and I'm one of these people that really feels it.
I am dreading what the Summer will bring, i bet it won't be sunshine!
Will stop ranting now

quoteunquote love your post!

Your descriptions are wonderful. Smile

LtEveDallas · 23/03/2013 07:38

This time last year we were opening up our caravan in the brilliant sunshine, and I posted on FB that I wished we were staying for more than one night because the weather was so wonderful.

We then went back the next weekend for Easter week and it pissed down every day

We are supposed to be doing the same today, but I don't want to

Fakebook · 23/03/2013 07:47

Fucking great. I never celebrate my birthday and today DH took a day off work especially for my 30th to take me out to London. It's the first time I looked forward to it in years. It's snowing, and raining and I feel cold and shit because of morning sickness. What a shit shit day. Angry.
