Do they think it's cool? It's horrifically annoying. I freely admit that I am severely sleep-deprived (3 month old and 3 year old waking concurrently, thanks kids) so am probably the U one.

I get a tiny bit of The Rage? whenever I hear the E4 announcers talk about 'Big Bang'. I sit there waiting for them to say 'Theory' and THEY NEVER DO. It makes me do --> and that's not good for the blood pressure or the complexion, dahlinks.

And just now I heard an announcer say that 'Grey's' was coming up. Grey's what? Grey's Anatomy? Greys Fishing? Greys Estate Agents? Yes I googled

Is it a Yoof thing? I used to work with a baby bloke who referred to Rage Against The Machine as 'Rage'. I larfed. And called him 'Day'. His name was David.

I could let this thread die, but... SummerRain, I heard the same announcer and I had the joy of watching my DH get apoplectic with rage over it . Was kind of worth it, in a 'YES, I am RIGHT' kind of way!

Fakebook they may not on BBC1, but BBC3 isn't quite so well-spoken! I'm starting to see a pattern. The channels aimed at a younger demographic are the main offenders. I'm not their target audience. Am I old ?!

Thomas the Tank would be even more annoying. He would rumble over everything in bloody Sodor on his destructive caterpillar treads and then somehow be forgiven by the end of the episode by all and sundry, despite having pissed off every other form of transport on the island. I hate that engine.

And can they please not shorten CSI: Miami and CSI: New York to just CSI? I only like the original Las Vegas based version and I get disappointed to find out that I've been waiting for the wrong CSI.

How do you feel about Corrie?

I came on this thread expecting to see "One Born". That's the one that irritates me every time. I think it's a mostly channel 4 thing, "strange things happening on Wisteria Lane, it's time for the Housewives" etc.

One Born? Err... That would be quite a dull show. Short too.
