AIBU to gloat?

Someone has been saying porkies about me in the office and I have today finally managed to prove what has been said about me all along are all lies, and humiliated the proky teller in the process.

However I am not one to normally gloat at the embarrassment of others, but I can't stop grinning like a Cheshire cat Blush AIBU to gloat?

That would be pretty bloody satisfying.

There is dignity in quiet triumph though. "Ner ner ner" doesn't make a good impression even in your circumstances!

YANBU to gloat. Serves them right. Well done.

mabongwen · 13/03/2013 20:54

Horry god no, luckily I didn't do the finger pointing tounge out na na na na over the desk Grin a simple smile said it all as they flushed redder than a tomato.

Tomorrow for me it will be the slate wiped clean and start fresh.

Definitely YANBU - the best bit is you need never say anything about it again, but you will both know. Smile

ClippedPhoenix · 13/03/2013 21:44

How do we know that you are justified in your gloating? Maybe there was a bit of something. No smoke without fire and all that.

Therefore you may be unreasonable.

INeverSaidThat · 13/03/2013 21:47

YANBU to gloat.

YAB very reasonable to stop gloating and 'wipe the slate clean' tomorrow. That is admirable and classy. Smile.

but don't ever forget..... Grin
