AIBU to expect my partner to make the bed

My partner is last out of bed every morning but almost never makes it.

I get up first, come downstairs and feed the cat, then go back upstairs and have a shower and get dressed. Then I come back down, empty the dishwasher, make breakfast for the kids, make lunch for one of them, make my own breakfast and take the littlest one to school.

Every time I come home from school and notice the bed is not made I am furious. Is it too much to ask?

The partner might be furious that he leaves the bed to air and LostPuppy keeps making it. Grin
As for "is it too much to ask", have you actually asked? If you did, he agreed and said that he will make it then YANBU.

How can you leave a bed unmade all day? It just looks so untidy! And while no one else may see it -I will and it would bug me.

Have you actually asked him to make it though OP?

You see fieldfare I feel the opposite. I will be the only one who sees it and I don't care.

Trills · 08/03/2013 16:09

I won't see it until I am ready to get into it again, at which point I'll be moving the covers anyway.

OP never came back Sad I do love a good bed thread! Grin

I don't like to make the bad as iLife to air the mattress.

that's my excuse and I am sticking to it

Is iLife the Apple branded bed solution? Grin
