took a ready meal to work today for lunch and took the plastic seal off only to realise i had not read the instructions (which were on the bottom of the tray) .i tipped the tray over a little only to have the whole lot go over the floor Blush .which leads me to ask what dumb things have you done today that will give us all the giggles

Not today but about a year ago, I was making a stir fry, chicken and veg almost done, just needed a bit more oil as they were starting to stick.
Picking up bottle of fairy liquid and squirted it all over before I realised. Needless to say, whole lot had to be thrown out. Beans on toast that night Grin

I took my car to the mechanic at our garage this week. It had just had its MOt and a rattling had begun. It began at the right handside at the back of the car. Then moved to the left handside. Especially coming down hills.

The mechanic said he'd take it for a run. And he phoned to say it was all sorted out.

It was the antifreeze can tapping against the Tupperware box of travel emergencies in the car boot.

I heard my Dad on the phone to the garage cancelling an appointment to get the rattle in his car door investigated. "Fixed it myself... used to work in the trade. Thanks, bye!" He later confessed to me and Mum he'd left an ice scraper in there!

This may out me but I heard a brilliant one from a friend the other day. She was taking her baby to a swimming session and when preparing at home, she thought the swim nappy felt a bit rough to go on his bits, so she had the genius idea of sticking a sanitary towel in it. In the pool his bum swelled up like a balloon and he bobbed about like a weeble - then she realised why no-one had thought of this before!

Haha Pancakeflipper ...just like my Dad! Luckily he realised before having the embarrassment of facing the mechanic!

Binky - Well, it's true that smoking is bad for your health and your arse cheeks...

I had Calpol-wrists tonight too, glad I'm not the only one who was cursing those damn syringes (that I failed to use according to the instructions)!
